Well its coming up to Christmas and I have no idea what to cook this year. It's always the same old stuff. What are you all having this year and I would especially like to know if there are any veggies here, as my mum is coming this year and I have no idea what to make for her :(

The norm is something like, turkey, potatoes, roast potatoes, mixture of vegetables, sausage with bacon wrapped around it, yorkshire puddings, stuffing and gravy.......BORING!!!!!!!!!!!

I really would like some ideas on what else to make this year....and I'm sure you girliez have a few recipes to share with me. Tammy will be coming later on in the evening for dinner.....and she HATES veggies.... so I need to make her something special too...

Sounds wonderful to me.

Do you have room for 7 more guests? We can come right over.

No Problem with the chairs. As long as Air Canada is OK with them as carry-on luggage. Will have to bring the cats too.:)

I've cooked a turkey dinner, with chestnut stuffiing and all the trimmings, for the last 3 years and said last year that I wasn't doing it again. So if my wife decides to not to cook the turkey this year, we are going out for dinner. And I don't care if its only for fish and chips!

As for something different, we usually do yams and one year we ordered in a load of sushi as an appertizer. Dessert is often icecream and jelly when I cook as its my fav.
