Ive been thinking about trying to incorporate fake tatoos into my CD'ing. Im thinking maybe a butterfly or something similar on the lower back for low rise jeans, etc. Has anyone else tried this before and if so how did it work as far as looking passable, etc? Do temp tatoos work OK or are they more trouble than they're worth? I could probably get a real tatoo of a butterfly or something but I doubt my folks would be to crazy about that right now! :p

Rachel,
I've Been Using A Fake Butterfly Tatoo Since 99' Applied To My Outer Thigh At The Hem Line While Sitting. It Lasts A Couple Days, And Is The Type That You Lay Over Dry Un Mousturized Skin And Wet The Backing With A Sponge Until It Transfers .
Its A Great Conversation Starter!

Hugs,
Kimm :)

I've got a few of the fake transfer type too - they're not as good as the professionally painted on ones, but they last alright for a day or two, and like Kimm says, they're a great conversation starter :)

I've got some butterfly ones that I've not used yet, my preference being for the japanese symbols that I have - they're kinda cute, plus you can pick the word you feel like... ;)

Rachel listen to Kimm. Those kind are pretty good. They go easy and come off easy too. Of course they don't quite look as good as the real thing, but they're cheap and 'removable' so if you don't like 'em you can get something else ;)

I've used the fake ones too. The last time was a butterfly on my shoulder when I wore a sleeveless dress.

They last longer if the skin is cleaned properly first and then wiped down with rubbing alcohol to remove any lingering oils.

I've had them last a week.

I've been thinking about a real butterfy tat. Maybe one day.
