Hi Girls, I need some help here, What is the correct bra size? I have a 40" chest and have been wearing a 40B bra for quite some time now. I have been reading the guides for the correct measuring and according to these guides I should be wearing a 44B bra. Am I interpreting this correctly or am I mistaken. BTW, I stand 5-9 w/o heels, weigh(do I really have to tell) 200lbs when wearing "drab" I wear a size large. Any help here would greatly be appreciated.
Love; BonnieAnne :GE:

Ive bought a lot of bras from eBay from 34's to 44's
I used to "borrow" the ex-wife's 36C, After we divorced, I dated a girl who was a 38D, I finally figured out that I wear a 42. So I narrowed my purchases down to 42B-42C-42D. Depending upon which size Pals breastforms I choose to wear, I still keep all the different sized cups available.
You could purchase a lot of different stlyes and brands from eBay at some pretty reasonable prices and avoid the embarassment of shopping for them in retail stores.

If the 40 band size seems to be a good fit, stick with it. If it is tight around the chest, then go bigger.
I've never believed in the sizing charts that suggest adding 5 inches to the measured size.

Dear Bonnieanne,
If you like the size 40, stick with it. If it feels too tight, move up a size. The guides are just that, a guide. It's a place to start. Bercause bras are elastic, there's quite a range that will fit, but remember you have to wear this garment ALL day. (Well if you are just going out for an evening you could put up with some discomfort for fashion) But a bra is meant to be worn all the time so it is suposed to be comfortable. I started with a 36B which, although very tight, did fit. But through experimentation I now wear a 40C with "B" size PALS forms. This has proven very comfortable, (after a while I forget I have it on) and GGs have said it is a good compliment to my figure type. (Although I must say that when I look down at them I still think they are MUCH too big). I find that the weight of the forms is a key component of the comfort as the weight keeps the bra from riding up. I used to depend on the tightness of the elastic to do that with smaller size bras before I bought real forms that had some realistic weight to them.
So I would say try some larger sizes and see how you feel. Comfort is the key here. It doesn't matter what the size guide says if you are uncomfortable. If you are depending on the tightness of the elastic to keep the bra in place, try some weighted forms.
Also for you taller girls, a larger size bra will have longer straps.
Lovies,
Stephenie

Hi Bonnie, I agree that if you are comfortable keep wearing what you have. One thing I have found out is that bras are like any other articlr of clothing, each manufacturer is different in the sizes they make, and that ranges from pants to bras. Love and xxxx, Lily

This (http://www.crossdresser.com/product_page.asp?ProductCatID=7&ProductSubCatID=17) may help. Go there and check the size charts. I just ordered some stuff from there. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Hi Girls, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you all for your advice and recommendations. The one thing I will most certainly do is get a very good pair of forms that have the appropriate weight.
Love to you all;
Your friend and sister

I went into Victoria's Secret and asked the SA to measure me.....she did so discreetly and didn't mind at all.
