OK, I'm convinced that cotton panties are more comfortable in hot humid weather. But now how about cotton bras? Does anyone wear or recommend cotton bras? GG's? Are they more comfortable in the heat also? +? Thanks.

Hi Stephanie, For me, when I'm out shopping or what have you, I wear cotton up and down. I live in Florida. 'Nuff said, on the other hand, I can't beat my silky ones for when I need to feel a little more sexy. Love and xxxx, Lily

Cotton bras are without doubt more comfortable against the skin in hot weather, especially the seamless ones, but they aren't as sensual as satin, and not as shapely as man made materials. Personally I like cotton for everyday use, even the straps seem to be softer.

Relunctly I have to agree about cotton bras being more comfortable in warmer weather. I have some satin ones that I really like, the drawback is that if I get a bit sweaty at work, my shirt gives a perfect outline of my bra. After the first time that happened I picked up some cotton bras on the way home that day. Haven't had the "show and tell" problem since.

I've ranted against cotton panties several times but bras are different. As long as it fits and the straps stay up I don't care what fabric my bra is made from.

There you go, girls, there are worse things in the world than cold weather, and one of them is hot weather. I have been in Wisconsin and Florida when it is humid and hot, and a satin or polyester bra would be very uncomfortable. This weekend, however, it was 34 C in the great white north, about 94 F, and cotton was definitely the fabric of the day! Cotton is also very soft and pliable, and just covers what you have and holds it gently in place.

I have to say Wenda, I definitely prefer the sound of 34C to 94F.:D

I thank the gods for cotton. Here in Texas it has been over 100 for almost 2 weeks and now the humidity is trying to match it. Cotton is the only thing you can wear in this heat and humidity. In the cool months i will wear silk and satin and micro then i can stand them but right now no way.
