Video Slideshow?

I really would like my Mum to see me as Janet but not in person. I would take pictures using my digital camera then record it to video. What do you think of this idea? Cheers Girls.

Are you after an Inheritance or what?, If she is unprepered you might initiate a heart attack..talk to her first. Give her time to digest this News, then if she asks to see you 'dressed' then you can make a video or show her pictures

I guess that if your going to let her know and don't want to be around for the fireworks.... Put it on a dvd and mail it to her or sneak into her house and load it up on her PC as a screen saver!! Then when she's sitting there and the screen saver kicks in she can have a heart attack all by herself.


Hmmmmm maybe you should warn her ahead of time. So she's not alone. Or so that there aren't 50 people watching (ie: church group) when she goes to watch it! Lol

Help me to understand. What do you imagine would happen if she saw the pics of you instead of seeing you in person? It sounds like you're expecting that something different would happen, something better. What would that be?

I can understand the need to share your feelings with someone. And given that you live with your Mum and are obviously close to her, then that is even more understandable.

But you need to consider what you would gain or not gain. Would it just make her feel uncomfortable? If you think she would not be too freaked by the idea then the best approach is to discuss it first. If you chat first then there is lot of leeway for forgiveness and general "well I love you anyway".

But if you show pictures or video etc it would be rather of a shock all in one go. I seriously suggest if you do want her to know that you chat to her first. If there is then any embarrassment you can gracefully back off from the subject and pretend it never happened.

Sounds like your trying to come out with actually being there..... As they say in baseball it's time to step up to the plate....... And ohh ya Get the bat off you shoulder, Keep your eye on the ball, keep your elbow up, keep those hands quiet.

I think if your going to do it, it's probably best to talk to her in person in drab and then take it from there.

i have found photos are a good way to show people. I did it that with my sister in law and mother aswell as friends. Of course they all had been told before hand but i do think its less confronting than doing it in person and easier for them. (but dont send it in an email! make sure you there)
