look for help on clothing

Hi my first post. Never having purchased any clothes and at 6' 4" not sure what to look for. can't by drab off the rack so what do I look for and watch out for. Size is between 2X and 3X, is my quess.

Hi Lynn, Welcome to a great site. Quick piece advice, and I'm sure the other girls are going to jump in, but first I'd find out what size you are in womans sizes. There are sites that have charts to help in that direction, and you might want to look into stores that specialise in large girls. That's my $.02 Love and xxxx, Lily

I have looked at some sizing charts and think that i'm around 2x or 3x. not sure about how to meassure chest, chest is 46 in drab with 39 waist and 45 hips.
