Casual,
Ok girls; how about going casual? What I mean is do you like to throw on a pair of levis or shorts with shirt or tee and go out? Maybe a cute little cami under with bra? Would you wear make up or just be completely casual? If you have none this, how have you been received? I am so very comfortable with casual attire on, may have some foundation and a little eye makeup, but that is all. Just fix my hair to look nice. Same concept for exercising; how much does it take to bridge the gap between drab and en femme? Girls, I love to be and feel completely fem without always dressing to the max, but do not know if I would go out this way, do any of you?
Hugs and Kisses,
Josie

Josie,
If it feels good when you wear it, then do it!
For me, nothing beats wearing womens jeans and loafers (moderate heel)
Casual styles are great!

Hi Jo, That's the way I go out. Casual. Womans jeans, blouse( uni-sex but buttons the "wrong" way), no make up, womans sneakers and anklets. Actually went to a former employers anniversary party last nite like that and no o0ne noticed my clothing, pierced ears, long clear polished nails, 5 rings, 2 bracelets, one being a cute charm one, nothing. Had a great time. The only thing they noticed was that I had shaved off my beard. Love it. I was dressed femme, but didn't where a bra though as I knew I was going to get alot of hugs, which I did. I figured, why push it when I didn't have to. For me, I don't have to wear the full regatta to feel femme, and besides, with the kisser I got, make up would stand out. Now If I went clubbing, that would be another story, so until that story comes up, Love and xxx, Lily

Casual? That's me. Here in Vermont, sometimes dressing up means putting on a clean T shirt.

Casual is where I have found myself once I went with the 24/7.
With a two-and-a-half-year-old running, hopping and yakking 14 hours a day ('Dress up! Dress up! Play cars! '57 Chevy!'), I found, like, four elements which never waver (ponytails, facial shave, Regenerist facial and lash mascara) and the rest is whatever chaos mandates. We go to the park almost everyday ... feed the ducks, pigeons and squirrels ... kids' wading pool ... playground ... and I'm sure almost everyone in Portland knows the broad with the cute blonde girl is, er, not quite a broad. Close enough for rock & roll, though.
Like the song says, You're only as pretty as you feel.

Well in my humble opinion...casual is highly over rated!! LOL. Might as well dress like a guy if your going to wear jeans!! Ewwwwww. :) I dress down when I go out in public. Simple skirt and top or capris. Can't wait to give my new gaucho pants a spin. For me dressing casual has no appeal at all...you can still dress feminine yet simple enough to blend in without going over the top and dressing to the nines!!!
As far as I'm concerned.... denim is good for going in the coal mine or sopping up oil off the garage floor and not much else!!
So there!! Hehehe

I have a pair of jeans and a pair of khaki slacks, but have never worn them out! My hands just go to my minis and other skirted garments when I dress. My shortest mini is my fav, but I do wear longer when going to public restaurants. I also have a few below the knee and a floor length evening skirt for special events. I bought the slacks/jeans after the security guard follwed me on a mall walk once, but just toned down a little rather than cover up. The latest addition to my wardrobe is a huge white straw sun hat I got at Target, With my pink Paris Hilton sunglasses and crimson lipstick it really works well. BTW, turned 69 a couple weeks ago, but not slowing down! Giggle, Giggle.

I agree, demin is a downer. It was the mandatory uniform of disaffected 70's youth and, for me, wearing it again would be like, er, Kiss Alive or something. J Crew low-cut corduroys, burgundy or mauve, mmmm, there's my idea of a sweet casual.

I would have never done that in the past but panties, womens jeans or shorts (love the way they look and feel, not much different than the men's designer jeans of the 70's-80's), and a little make-up, clear polish on the nails standard fare for the most part except work. When out total enfem or clubbing I love dressing to the nines.

I am dressed casual 95% of the time when I go out. I will make some mad probably but I will say it anyway...you really ought to dress casual for shopping, going to the mall, etc. Clubbing is different, you can get away with wild club wear and have fun with it. But there again I just go casual.
I get a huge kick out of watching GGs and then wearing stuff they wear. Casual even at the nightclubs is what they are doing!
I will also admit a weakness...I absolutely go nuts over compliments from GGs while out. When dressed casually almost everytime I go to da clubs the lesbians make a fuss over my appearance. If I am dressed in a mini or some wild club wear they pretty much don't say anything. So I just go with the casual and enjoy it...and enjoy the reactions I get! :tongueout

I like to dress casual, but not in pants. I always wear skirts or dresses. My favourite style is one that would correspond to what a woman my age and with similar body features would wear according to the circumstances.
I wear a denim skirt at home with a very simple top and underwear that are comfortable enough to feel OK at the end of the day...
I'm not going out much, but when I do I try to use the same attitude as described above: dress like a woman would do in that situation (except pants :heehee: )

Fit clothes to fit the mood - or the place your going.
I usually hang about at home in jeans and a simple top. I don't need to be flashy. If I want to dress up, then I dress up. :)
Tranny rules: There are no rules!!
(Some coordination wouldn't go amiss though!)

Love it, you cant beat lounging around in cas clothes, little crop tops and shorts and I love womens jeans they are so much better fitting than mens, when I wear mens jeans they hang off my arse, were as womens jeans hug my cheeks :heehee: anything whethr it be skirts or trousers en femme, if it is femme then it's always sexy, I used to have a real bad hang up about wearing trousers (femme) was always a skirt girl but now anyhting femme goes,
since I have been more out and open my g/f has brought me clothes both female and male but even the male clothes that she buys me now are pink i.e. two pink shirts, and I feel sexy in them as well when in male mode its cool,
Never felt that way before when wearing mens clothes, wonder if it is subliminal or something,
My brain knows what I really think :hugs:
