Anyone have any good links to wigs online. Also, anyone have any suggestions for wearing your wig "up". Like pulling up the sides and what have you? I've tried to do it before but can't seem to make it look right. Or it just falls out. Is this something we really can't do with wigs?

I bought mine from www.abantu.com but I live near them so I went to their physical store (Mary is very TG friendly). Their website kinda sucks though.

I bought one from here:

http://www.beautytrends.com

You can also try here:

I also had good luck picking up a couple on eBay, both from the same seller. She styles them first so they don't look like some kind of wild animal when you take them out of the package.

Need a wig? For really personal, discrete, and friendly CD service go to www.wiggoddess.com.
Run by Clare, you will not find better or friendlier service anywhere. Not much else to say. Try her. You will like her.

I know you specifically asked about places to buy wigs online, and the links you've gotten so far are all excellent choices (especially Beauty Trends, as they allow returns and exchanges, which is rare).

But have you considered actually going to a wig shop near you? I am convinced that is absolutely the best way to go if you are looking to find a style that really suits you. It will cost more, but you will get to try on several styles and colors with the help of a wig expert. Most wig shops are used to having TG clients and are very friendly towards our community. If in doubt, call first and ask when you make the appointment for your fitting.

Just another point of view to consider....from someone who's seen her share of internet wig mistakes! Anyway, hope you find something you love.

Hugs,
Marla xx

we haven't done much restyling to the few we have, but we did put this one up a bit without it Brandy just looked like a stoner or a musician, not a woman, lol

I agree with MarlaGG,
Look you want a good wig go to a wig salon. Make an appointment you go into a privte room anyway for a fiting. These people will look at the shape of your face, complection and will advise you. Look you will pay a little more but the follow up service can not be beat. Trust me:thumbsup:

I will second what Marla and Carol are saying. I have been in a room of cd's, maybe about 100 of them. I was sitting with a hair/wig stylist (a gg). She was pointing out the quite numerous bad hair in the room. This included bad fit, bad color and bad style for the person. If you are not concerned about a great look, and want to spend a bundle experimenting on wigs, then buy off the web. Just suck it up, and go to a wig salon. Let the professionals do their job for you.

Got mine from here: http://www.wigs-us.com/

Was reasonably priced and delivered quickly. Probably not the best wig you could buy in the world, but I like it.

I would be concerned that if I bought a wig over the internet that if I picked up a style that it would not look good on me. If I ever get that far, I think that I would suck it up and go to a store to get assistance to get some thing that may look terrible when I get it.

Three ebay online wig stores - U Look marvelous, Hair Me Now, and Rocky Mt Beauty..... Bought a total of 16 wigs there over the last 3 years.

And I use those large clifs and pull my hair up and clip it on top. Works great and stays in well
