When buying ladies' socks (not pantyhose), how do I know what size to get?

they match up to shoe size, so if you know your female shoe size you get the sox to match.

I know nothing about ladies' shoes either (I just wear sneakers, that's what almost all girls my age do anyway).

All the ladies socks I buy are stretchy and are sized 9 - 11. Unless your feet are very small or larger than a womens shoe size 11, they will work.

I have to ask, what age are you? None of the women in my family wear sneakers and that includes my granddaughter. And last time I checked, sneakers are sized like any other shoe which means that a women's sneaker size number is at least a 1/2 size larger than than a men's size number, at least in North America.

I wear femme trouser socks a lot. I never realized they were sized - just free size.

I'm 24, and a lot of girls my age in Vancouver wear sneakers.

I ended up buying socks that say they are size 9-11, and they fit.

I find it ironic and irritating that there are many fewer ladies socks available in large sizes than there are large shoes.

I'd really like to have several pairs of sissy socks with frilly lace at their top. Apparently, they're only made for midgets.

size 9-11 should fit fine
