Today on The Insider two couples are featured publicizing the upcoming August 15 WE television show on Secret Lives of Women - Married to Crossdressers. My wife and I are featured together with another couple from the Midwest. Yes, I hated their reference to my compulsion as stated below. I certainly do not feel any guilt about who I am. Yes, we are very apprehensive about how our lives will change after next week but know that the largest segment of the transgender community, crossdressers, have been neglected in the media. When we are featured it is usually sensational BS such as Jerry Springer with few if any facts about our community. We would appreciate your comments both positive and negative after the broadcast next Tuesday.
Thanks.

Inside the World of Cross Dressers
All across America, straight men are concealing a shocking secret: They enjoy dressing as women! Now, a new Women's Entertainment TV show reveals two women in monogamous relationships with men who are cross dressers.
"I told her, 'I'm not everything I appear to be,'" JOE PREVOST tells WE! On "Secret Lives of Women: Married to Cross Dressers" (Tuesday, Aug. 15 at 10 p.m.). Soon after, he introduced his fiancée, CARRIEANNE, to his female alterego, "Tori Lynn" -- with the help of cosmetics, stockings and a wig.
"I looked at him and I went, 'Is that what you got me all worked up about?'" Carrieanne says. "I chose to go through this. I love Joe so much and I love Tori, and I want to be there for him or her."
The men confess they have feelings of self-loathing and shame about their compulsions. Grandfatherly MEL says he has been wearing women's clothes since he was 5. As a child, Mel says he was attracted to his mom's nylons. A little bit later on, he tried on her high-heeled shoes and dresses.
"Each time I did that, I would throw off those clothes and feel guilty and bad and think, 'Boys should not be doing this.' But a few days later the attraction would hit me again."
He wrestled with how to tell his wife, PEGGY, about his feelings. Finally, he poured it all into a heartwrenching letter.
"I think that reading the letter helped me, and he made another point perfectly clear: 'I love you,' and that degree of trust and faith was a wonderful thing."
The two have been married for 25 years. For more on cross-dressing, watch "Secret Lives of Women" at 10 p.m., Aug. 15, on WE TV.
Thanks.
