Well here's my Saturday night/Sunday morning right here - just more practicing with makeup and searching for my "look". These were the best ones out of the group of pics I took. I wanted more body pics but Im still figuring out the timer thing on my cam. :o What does everyone think? Any suggestions/criticism for improvement is gretaly appreciated! :)

Very nice pics Rachel. Thanks for sharing them, you look great. WIll be passing through your neck of the woods later today on the way to Laredo.
Thats cool. Sounds like u pass through this area often. Who knows we might pass on the freeway sometimes - although we don't know what eachother looks like! :p So we may have seen one another already and not even knew it!

Rachel;
Very Nice pictures, I like the first and the last ones the best. :)
It is hard to get good photos when your are alone using a timer.
Here is a tip that helps me. I set up a mirror behind the camera for two reasons. first I can see the pose that I'm in and adjust my stance - You have to play model and photographer at the same time. Secondly since I can not conect my digital view on my camera to a monitor (The ideal way to see yourself) I can see the reflection of the small image in the mirror and I can tell if I'm all in it, not that my head is cut off. - it helps.

This is how I took my pics. This is a good way to find your pose while filming.
Rachel, the photos are very lovely, I like your hair style.
The only thing that I would do to change your look a little, would be to shape your eyebrows a little. This might be difficult to do, people will see your plucked eyebrows while in drab. Don't get me wrong, you look good. I just thought a little arching to the brows might look a little different.
You do the make-up very nice.
Love Amelie

JJHehe thanks. :) I just really wanted to put up something new there because it's been a while.
The eyebrow thing is kind of a work in progress - im trying to shape them little by little so people dont make a big deal of it - hopefully. lol :o :p

Rachel,
Look at my pic. I've had them trimmed for quite a while now and no one has ever noticed my brows without my pointing them out to them!

Hey Waco! It is SO GOOD to see your pics and hear how strong you feel! I can't offer much in the way of advice, your new pics are all very good, and at least 2 notches above the old avatar. Just really glad to hear how great you look and feel. luv, wenda.

Hi rachel, Clovis girl here. Love the tatto. do you have any more? I'v been thinking of a tatto but I'm not sure. What do you think is a good first tatto? virgin in New Mexico. LOL

Hmm well the one I have is a temp one. If your curious about tatoos then temp ones are the best way to go. See how you like them without having to make a lifelong commitment to one. Thats the only one I had (washed off this morning :( ) on me. Im not sure what a good first one is, I guess it depends on your personality and what you like. Japenese symbols r cute - they have different ones that stand for different things like love and affection and friendship. If you need a legend to see which symbol means what check your library. They often have books that describe what each sign means. Hope this is helpful! :o

Thanks rachel. I never considered a tatto befor but I think a Well placed, meaningful tato is appropriate. What do you think?. LOL Wilma
