I have been crossdressing since I was 9 and recently the last of my kids moved out so I have been planning a trip to sf in the spring for a huge shopping trip/makeover. (my ex left me and the kids when they were young)
I currently have nothing and am planning to buy everything when I go. I am finding that waiting is driving me nuts. I cant stop thinking about it at work/home etc. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to stay, the best makeover studio in or near sf etc. Also is there a store that sells size 15 shoes in sf.:sad:

Why Wait?!?

I think it's great that you'll be able to take a trip in the Spring and all, but why do you have to wait to start shopping? Going out and shopping can be tons of fun for girls like us (even in drab)! If you're too shy to go out and shop, there's mail order and/or online shopping!

You don't have to wait 8 months to have fun.

Hi Diane, If I read your post correctly you said the last of your kids moved out,is this correct? If it is then why the wait?? You can start shopping on line for the essentials if you need them, bras, panties, pantyhose, blouses,skirts shoes make-up(sorry) I got carried away. But really, why wait??????

Unfortunatly my current finances wont allow it. but the tax man will owe me this year so march it is. Plus i want to try on what i buy ive had trouble with mail order in the past.

I'd at least get the shoes first. Size 15 is going to be a b**** to buy. Zappos has a good selection, if a bit expensive, but (and this is important) they never hassle about returns and EVEN PAY THE SHIPPING!!! So to the extent you can free up any funds, get the shoes at least. The rest you can get during a shopping spree...

Otherwise sounds like a great plan! Have fun.

If you receive a salary, you can have your withholding adjusted so you can take home more of your gross pay - beats givin Uncle Sam a tax free loan til next April! Not to mention buying those shoes sooner!!
