out shopping

I went out shopping today and got a shirt. Then a gg sa asked if she could help me find anything. I asked if they had any strech flare pants like the jeans I'm wearing but in an off white or tan color. She asked what size I was etc... She took me over the mens section and said the only thing of that type of color we have are these shorts, but they are super baggy. ugh... I said. I don't like baggy. I then asked if they had them in womens, and proceeded to tell her that I waited forever for flare jeans for men, but then realized they are never going to do it. She agreed, and told me the good thing is that if I'm willing to wear womens pants I have a whole lot more choice. I was suprised as she took me around to showed me all the different pants. Well I didn't find anything that I really liked. So I went to buy my shirt and on the way up to pay she asked me if I found any pants I liked etc... etc... She was super nice and cheerful. This all from a non commission store. Isn't it nice to be treated normal once in a while?

I think it is awesome that you had the courage to do so....I think the only chance I ever get to expand my wardrobe is once a year at halloween...I can actually use that holiday as an excuse....any other time I could expand my wardrobe in this town would just out me right then and there.
