For my outing in Las vegas next month I want to remove all of my body hair. I do shave my legs but I need all hair removed and stay off as long as possible. Hair texture, course.
Ok girls what do you use?

WAX is the only way to go. I get waxed about every six weeks. Just love the feel afterwards.

I got a full body wax last friday and I looooove the feeling. I also shaved the goatee and now my GF thinks I look 16yo.
My waxing took about 2 hours but I'm a big girl so your time may vary.
Take at least two pain killers about a half hour before you go.
It was not nearly as painfull as I thought it was going to be but I hear that depends a lot on how hairy you are.
Personally after the first dozen or so rips the endorphines kicked in and I felt very relaxed and pampered.
Have fun :D

I shave 2 or 3 times a week with a Lady Shick quattro, that has never given me one nick, doesn't take that much time. Love and xxxx, Lily

Waxing is the best way to go. I get waxed every month or so, hair grows back finer after several waxings. It really feels nice and smooth after.

I normally dry shave to remove my body hair. For the details of this technique see http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=535591#post535591
Waxing will last longer than shaving, and give a smoother finish, but dry shaving is so fast, it's no big deal to shave every 2 or 3 days if you really need to. Shaving is cheaper than waxing, and waxing can be painful, especially at first.

waxing sure sounds the way to go , but how much is the body wax cost.+?

I shave my the front of my body by dry shaving with a disposable razor, for my armpits and groin I use a Philips Bodygroom and shave my legs with shaving foam and another disposable razor.

I don't yet but I think when/if I do I will use Veet, because it just seems to easy.

Dose waxing hurt?

Jasmine, waxing doesn't hurt as much as one would think. After the first few screams of agony, and the tech has stuffed your mouth with a towel to keep you quiet, it isn't so bad. ;)
Actually it really isn't too bad.
Peg: depending on where you go a full body wax from nose to toes, arms, pits, back, chest, bikini, legs, and if they're willing a Brazilian (That space between the bottom cheeks) including a generous tip, you can expect to pay about $200
Sounds pricey I know, but the fun of having some nice looking honey rubbing warm wax on your "hooha" is worth it. Just don't think about what will happen next...........rrrrrrriiiippppp!

I got full legs, bikini (not Brazilian), belly, chest, back, and pits for $100 + $20tip. It took two hours and like I said, after the first few rips the pain isn't so bad.
The arms would have been another $20 but since I've been bleaching them they are not very noticeable.

Jasmine,
It really depends on the area. I find the chest hurts the most. Back, arms and legs are never a problem for me.

Bar of soap and a razor in the shower works for me.

I always like a long hot bath and a wet shave, might try wax strips sometime.

i had that done a few years ago. everything but my hair, eyebrows and lashes. i love it. its expensive and a little discomfort to it, like a bad sunburn but well worth it. sure beats the hassle of shaving and wearing pantyhose or tights in warm weather.missy

I alternate shaving with a razor, using soap as lubricant, and depilatory cream.
I use the later as I let my skin rest from shaving a few times a year and after when the hair is to long the razor isn't working so well...
I also use depilatiry cream when I want a really perfect smooth skin. Note that it can only be done if you haven't shaved this part of your skin for at least 3 days. The skin is very sensitive and shaving makes it more so... There is a risk of skin damage if you don't respect that rule (I know, I've been there... :( )
I wish I could afford laser hair removal, but besides the cost (I really have hair all over) my SO is opposed to this ides of me without hair...

I use veet, it lasts about a week. It lasts longer on legs and arms than chest and stomach, which grow back quicker. Hair seems to grow back less coarse and stubbley than shaving. I have never waxed, but I hear and believe that you will get the best and longest lasting results there.

waxing is the way to go.After you see how easy it is you can do yourself(except the back) for about 13.00 a jar.I can do my whole body with one jar.
Well, I just want add my 2 cents about waxing. I was shaving for a while but just recently got a waxing<full legs, bikini area, and underarms>The cost was $45.00 for the legs and bikin area and $12 for the underarns <plus a nice healthy tip> the pain really isn't that bad and the results are well worth it.Everything is so smooth right now.To me waxing is the way to go

WOW only three hours for the tattoo, my last tattoo took 5 1/2 hours so I guess I could sit through a complete body wax.

I use a combination of shaving, Nair, and ...get this...tweezing. Nair is great for initially getting rid of a lot of hair, especially in places that may be difficult to shave, like the back of your legs or your butt. It doesn't last all that long though. After I Nair, I just keep it down with shaving....I do it during my shower for convenience. I just recently found that...while incredibly tedious and time consuming, the area's I've tweezed end up a lot smoother for longer, and when the hair does grow back there's less. SO I spend a couple of hours a night at it, I figure eventually it'll make things really easy, and without those waxings I can't afford
