What's the difference between a wig and a hairpiece?

When would you use a hairpiece instead of a wig?

hi jennifer a wig covers you whole head and a hair peice only covers a small section for examlpe a man going bale will get a small peace to blend into his hair. or a woman might get a peice to clip into the back of her hair to loog like her hair is longer. I hope that helps

Jennifer -- May I throw another term into the pile? Hair replacement system. That's what my wig is called by the hairdresser who sold it to me. It's beautiful and can be styled. He even styled and cut it when I bought it. HRS probably doubles the cost of a wig.

Just got my 2 new wigs in the mail today .Both of them feel like real hair .Can't wait till I get some pictures of them to put on the site.:2c:
