Hi all... (almost 100 viewing at Noon in the USA !!!)

Another thread had a discussion about wearing a bra under every day clothes and the worry about it showing, especially the straps and back hooks. I have been wearing a Wintersilks bra for a while under my dress shirt and t-shirt and it is almost invisable. Take a look... (long website number)

http://www.wintersilks.com/viewproduct.aspx?BRANCH=3~24~&ProductDisplayID=326&dept=Ladies-silk+intimates&prod=2111+lace+bra

It is quite comfortable and gives the wonderful feeling of wearing a bra without the peek-a-boo worries...

Thanks Bobbie...looks like a great bra and very sexy too. I thought I'd add another option to this thread for everyone who wants an everyday bra to wear. I wear a sports bra as my everyday bra and found two excellent ones at dreamproductscatalog.com. They are called the Triple Stretch Comfort Bra, and the Lifetime Cotton Comfort Bra. The Triple Stretch is very light and breathes really good, and the Lifetime Cotton Comfort Bra is not only very comfortable to wear, but very durable as well. Also...no hooks or clips of any kind to worry about. Excellent prices on both of these and free shipping if you order in multiples. Check it out...I highly recommend them both.:happy:

Peek-a-boo, I can't see you? What's the point? If you've got the stones to wear a bra under your work clothes, who is going to challenge that? Other than have some wiseass come up behind you who knows you like to wear them and snap the straps, what could anyone possibly have to gain by saying to you at work:" Hey man, you wearin' a bra?" Don't think so, even if they know it. I used to have guys pat me on the back when I wore a bra to work. No way in hell they didn't feel it but never said anything. Same thing with my clear nail polish and toned down makeup. Either they didn't notice (yeah, right!) or didn't have the guts to go there. No one ever showed me any disrespect in any case. Ericka Kay

I just wear a bra to stop my spine pulling my head down to my navel ;)

Bras to me equal reduction in back pain... If straps show, so be it, better to be muttered about than totally crippled.

I'd love to wear a bra at work, but NG. I work with tourists and don't need anything negative getting back to the boss 'cause one or more of the unwashed noticed a bra. I'm kinda pushing it already with the long nails, earrings, long hair, ect. Even started to wear black woman's slacks at night when I do my ghost tour. I got the feeling the other night that a lesbian couple noticed, as I caught them looking at my crotch a couple of times, and talking. As I was also tucked, and flat fronted..... They didn't say anything, but after the tour, they stuck around and we talked about ghosts and such. I got the feeling I was "family", and I'm O.K. with that. Love and xxxx, Lily

I agree with Erika, no one has ever given me a hard time about wearing a bra and makup to work. I wear a 40DD and it shows. Everyone has discovered that I cross dress, and are totally accepting of it. Many have seen my pictures and have run into me in public. Even the very conservative macho old men acctually enjoy talking with me about it.
I say enjoy your life and don't worry about what others think because chances are they're not thinking bad about you at all. Times have chaanged and people are much more understanding than in years past.

Enjoy,
Beckey Sue

ps: How do I add my picture to my communications? I like communicating with people I can visualize, so I assume the rest if you do also.

I've found that bras with the skinny straps and strap adjusters high on the strap are the ones that show the most and, so far, sports bras with the T back show the least. Just about anything shows through just a T-shirt. I'll wear a sports bra when I can wear a regular shirt over a T-shirt. I have worn my regular bras out, but the skinny straps show at the top of the shoulders, I guess if I wasn't so self-concious it wouldn't matter. How many people actually go looking for that kind of stuff anyway, if you don't bring attention to yourself in some way, nobody looks at you twice as they walk by, they have enough to think about already without paying attention to all those around them.

I wear my normal underwire bra a lot under my shirt to work. No one has noticed and my shirt is loose enough that you can not see any outline. Now if I wore one of my tight T-Shirts, then it would be noticable. LOL

I've worn a bra almost every day for years now. At work I wear dark t shirts or the normal purple and blue FEDEX shirt. I've been hugged and touched plenty, and I'm sure someone had to notice the straps on my back, but no one has ever said anything. I dont know what i'd say if they did. It just may be time to bring it all out and be proud of who i am,,,,,,,lets hope so!

Hi again..

I work closely with people as a limo driver and in warm weather when I work in just a white shirt and black tie, if I wore almost any bra with hooks or straps, or even a sports bra that has some thickness to it, the bra would show when I bend over the trunk of the car to load and unload luggage.

During the colder months, I usually wear a sweater and suit jacket so I can be comfortable and fem wearing almost any front hook bra, A rear hook bra will still show... Its not that I don't want people to know that I am partialy dressed, the narrow minded jerks I work with would not understand... I have already been caught with "panty peak" (darn Victoria's waistband) but I laughed it off saying "The lazy GF didn't do my shorts with the laundry yesterday so I grabed a pair of hers to teach her a lesson...)... At least I had on white pantys and not pink or purple (my favorites).

Great suggestions on alternative bras to wear...

I would luv to wear a bra to work. However, one time I had to be taken out to the hospital so I keep that in the back of my mind. Don't want to get caught.

I wear a bra daily, even to work. I wear loose fitting shirts, and I try not
to wear a padded bra, except in cold weather when I wear a heavier shirt.
