What is everyone planning to buy with all the Labor Day and Back to School Sales going on this weekend?

I want to get a blouse and a pair of knee high pointy toe boots to go with the leather skirt.

Finally, someone is asking the important questions. :)

My shop spree was a little early, went on line last weekend and bought shoes and a wig. But, I've been looking around at stores a few times this week. I want a black, v-neck dress and some tight, black stretch pants with the bell-bottom leg. Ewww, that and my new pumps and I think I'll be a knock out 4 shore.

I'm brigging Sexy Back, Justin!

The wife and I went to Lane Bryant the other day, that was a bit over $600. I think we shot our wad!!! She got some tops, jeans and a leather coat. I got some panties, a couple bras and a pair of jeans.
Now I have to work Saturday, Sunday and Monday. bThose 3 days are the equivialant of 6 1/2 days pay, at straight time. I'll take there money...BJ

Unfortunately nothing, Hon. From the projected path of Hurricane Ernesto, I'm going to have to prep for flooding. All my stuff is in a room in the basement and that usually gets water in it when we get heavy rains and flash flooding. Gotta make sure I protect the stuff I already have. I hope you find some bargains tough but it looks like a busy weekend for this gal. Get a chance to use my swimsuit maybe anyway. Ericka Kay

Here, JCPenny has a new ad out.
"Buy 2 bras get third one free... on the spot".
(isn't that like 33% off?) :heehee:
I guess it beat 30% off.
I just love sales!

Went shopping yesterday and bought some bras from JCPenney and some microfiber panties (very nice feel)from Wal Mart. Had to keep going and leaving the bags in the car. What a day!

Strike one for me. Found nice pencil skirt at the thrift store, but not what I want. Tomorrow is another day.

A wig and some junk jewlery today. I know not worthy of the name shopper :o . A GG friend calls it flitting, maybe because her man won't know what she's up to. LOL

(And sometimes I think it is more "Francine" looking at it!)

Maybe I should go shop for it enfemme. I might get a bigger discount or more trade in allowance! :heehee:

Went to Kohls yesterday and found a denim mini and a 3/4 sleve top on clearance for a grand total of $11. Looked around at some bras and panties-lots of cute styles, but did'nt buy any.

My wife and I like to go to C J Banks. They have some great clothes and can find some really great bargains. Got a great skirt the other day for five dollars. We also like to shop thrift stores, can find some brand name clothes at really great prices.

Well girls it took til sunday (other things going on saturday), but my roomy and I spent the day shopping. 'broom' skirt, sheer long sleeve shirt, black long sleeve shirt, black chamios, tan cami, and 2 silky baby doll / robe sets.
Now I need a 2 button blazer in black or charcoal grey to complete the skirt outfit.

It felt good to shop, but the fashion show at home taught me that there's just enough size difference that I'll need my own wardrobe :( We can mix panties and bras, but not blouses and skirts.

Also, does anyone have a good place to find tall woman sizes - for long sleeve blouses and blazers - anything with long sleeves?

I'm over 6 foot tall and a size 16/18. The problem is the arms - 6 foot wing span. I'm affraid I'll have to spend $$$ for tailored women's blazers. I saw a few things on jcpenny.com (Tall Women's section), but do the arms reach?

I went shopping with my sister this weekend and bought a couple of pairs of embroidered pants from Lane Bryant (my first ladies' pants). It was so cool being there with my sister. It made feel so much more confident about shopping in a ladies' clothing store, lol. Anyway, I went out to the mall today wearing one of the pairs of pants (denim jeans), a sparkly beaded bracelet I bought myself for my birthday, and a crystal necklace my sister got me and I felt so pretty! My best birthday weekend in ages, definitely! :)

The saga continues...
Lane Bryant here was doing a special with 'Women's Dollars'(?) - if you spend so much they'll give you a discount on future purchases.

Well I qualified for that on purchases made Sunday, but the future purchases start September 5 (today). I wasn't thinking about the Dollars when I went back yesterday to get my skirt, cami, and silky (cotton!) shirt. Then the saleswomen told me she'll hold them for me until today so I get the discount. How nice of her.

I'm a Lane Bryant addict. I have LB Women's Dollars (yea!)....and they have a cool last name too :)

My new Kohl's and JCPenney's cards came in the mail so I just had to go warm them up. Bought another halter dress, this one in black and drops to mid-calf. Luv those halter dresses and this one doubles for that 'Little Black Dress" also bought a purple sleeveless top, a black sleeveless top and some matching (top-bottom) hold you in undies. All of this at Kohl's for over $100. After spending that much I didn't dare go to Penney's.

Your gurls should be ashamed to be influencing me so much.

I was on my way to Value Village for their 50% off sale today. I checked what time the bus came, and it was in 10 minutes, and then an hour later.

I am sure Value Village would have been incredibly busy on a day such as this, and I am impatient, so I chickened out and just want home.

Good thing I did, cause it turns out my mom was still there and would have been there the same time I would have. That would have been very awkward.

Although the sale is over tomorrow, I think I'll still go. I'll have time, and the busses will be better at the time of the day I will be going. And less people, less lineups, and I don't intend on buying TOO much anyway.

I broke down and bought a outfit and handbag from Newport News.

I hope I bought the right size. I did my share of size tag changing when I worked in a grament warehouse.
