Have to share....a big step for me

My fiance and I went out today for a girls day out. Well, I was in guy mode.

1st off we went to a woman that does breast forms. I wanted a higher end form for myself. Made the apt and went to her house. She was great! I am getting a set in size 9 up from my current 4's. She sized me in a 32DD bra and WOW I looked killer!!! I was thinking it would be over the top but no they look great. My SO loved them as well.

Then we got to talking about butts and hips. So she showed me a pair of padded panties and had me try them on. Another WOW! I have a butt!:eek: She was a tad on the higher end on price so I will order a pair off the net that are the same and save a bunch of money on. So I will be buying the forms from her in a week or so. I can't wait!

After working with her we met up with a sister from my group at a local wig shop that I love. I now have a wig that has too many miles on it and want a higher end human hair wig. While talking with my friend for a while the store owner ordered 3 different wigs for me to choose from. She is a sweet heart.:hugs: I will be a new and improved Beth soon.

OK, now here is the kicker. Remember I am in guy mode except for lowrise gals jeans. My fiance and I go to a nail tech for her pedicure. We walk in and it was empty! The girl said to pick out a nail color. OK Jenn got a pretty ruby red and I just did it.....I picked up a to die for purple into pink color and set down next to Jenn for a pedicure. The nail girl did not bat an eye. So then I pulled off my shoes and socks showing that I had red toenails already and baby smooth shaven legs. I felt like I just crossed into the "I don't give a crap" zone! The best feeling! While soaking my feet in hot water watching her do my fiances feet I was in la la land. Only three people came in but they were workers. I got 3 smiles and no ill feelings from them.

Now it was my turn. All I can say is..........I want to go back soon!!!!!

After she finished we sat at a table with fans drying our nails we bought 4 colors of polish and then we were done. Up the tech comes with a pair of pink flip flops for me. What I thought? Can I put on my shoes? No, she said I have to wait 30 mins to dry. But we are in a huge shopping ctr. and I will have to walk out a ways to get to the car. Oh CRAP!! So I sucked it up and walked out and wished for the best....Whew...no one saw me!

OK, now a quick stop off before going home. We went to a Marshall's (after my toes dried) and I found a very sexy pair of lowrise jeans. I again sucked it up and went to the fitting room and tried them on. Bingo! We have a winner out of two pairs of jeans. So I came out and handed the fitting room girl the pants that I didn't want. I knew she knew that they were in fact women's jeans but, I was in the zone once again.:devil:

This was one of the biggest days so far for me. Doing all of this in guy mode and I haven't been out in public as Beth during the day yet!

I just had to share my day out. I hope some of the girls here will get the nerve up to do such things. It makes a lot of bad feelings go away fast. It will help with going out as female sooooo much better.

We need little cheerleader-waving pompoms smileys! I've been looking for some unisex or passable-unisex jeans for guy mode to no avail yet. Last time I saw a pair was in a Primark back in England but I wasn't willing to buy them at the time. Shame :( I do have a boy-cut pair that I've worn a couple of times - by accident - outside.

Being able to do all that with your girlfriend at your side must have been wonderful. Love your comment about being "in the zone", I can relate to that.

eleyna, check out Fashion Bug or Dress Barn, they have jeans with no decorations on the back pocket. They look good and will pass. I've got three pair of them and wear them everywhere. Not one comment.

The thrift shop I was in last night had an isle full of jeans -- more than most department stores.

I recently purchased some JAG jeans (80% off, the store was going out of business). They fit quite well, and my wife complimented me more than once on them. They are a bit low-rise, but I've read that very low rise is the style for younger men these days. In any case, the low-rise mostly means that yet more of my femme tops just barely reach my belt line -- a difference of 1" at most. There is no special decoration on the JAG jeans that mark them as femme; the only difference in practice is the shallower pockets.

Another brand for you to check out is Tommy Hifflinger. They do have a bunch of jeans styled for women, but they also carry a small number that have exactly the same pocket pattern as some of their mens' jeans. I know because I picked up a denim skirt from them that is the same pattern and same length as denim mens' shorts I got from them (so you have to look carefully to tell.)

That is a great story, Beth. My GF first went shopping with Wenda on a trip out of town, and she still talks about that weekend. She discovered a new friend and shopping buddy. The trouble is the shopping buddy part:eek: . This new relationship can be very stressful on your credit card! But it sure is great. :D

Beth, good on you, girl! It's such a buzz, isn't it? I love it! However, the ultimate buzz will be when you go out enfemme for the first time....PRICELESS!!!

It is so good to hear such warming stories of how girls tackle the big wide world.
So far I have a pedicure from a woman that comes to the house but she doesn't take up my suggestion when I choose a colour for the nail polish. It would be very difficult as well because from April to October I live in shorts and sandals, so everyone would see.
However, from October she is opening a salon and I will have to go there for my pedicure and I will just about be in shoes/trainers then. At that point I am thinking of pushing the polish angle so I can at least wear it through the winter. it's a start!

You may want to come up with short, acceptible, "excuses".

If this happened to me (and it probably will in the near future, since I am not out except to my wife), and someone ask me "why", I would look them in the eye and say "Yes, I am wearing toenail polish, but I won the bet."

Grantedly this is a "lie", and some may argue that you should not be afraid to out yourself, but until my wife and I make that decision I have no problem with living "my way" while distracting the perceptions of others.

Note - Halloween may be interesting this year.

Thanks for all of the nice comments. I feel like it was a dream untill I see my feet.

At work today all I wanted to do was show all of the other GG's my toes. But that would be a mistake on my part. So, I guess it is my little secret.

I think as soon as I get my new hair and forms all bets are off. Beth will step out into the world. Now I will just have to work out a way to get to my truck from the front door of my house without the neighbors knowing.:eek: That will be another post.

What a great post! I love reading about sisters that go out in boy mode and do girly things with no bad concequences :happy: After my recent nail salon woes, it was particularly rewarding for me to here of your successful visit.

I think when you get your forms and hip and bottom pads you'll be all set for a en femme trip in public daylight hours :happy:
