Modeling for fun and profit?

Has anyone here tried modeling (as a crossdresser)? Not necessarily as a professional career, even something little as posing for pictures in clothing store catalogues.

What's your experience like? How did the staff feel working with a CD (assuming they knew you weren't a GG)? How much did they pay you?

I was thinking modeling might be something fun to dabble in.

I was a makeup model once at a store that specializes in CD makeovers. The owner needed someone the prospective makeup artists could show their talents on. That was a fun day. :D

I was going to be a model in a catalouge of tg products but the people ran out of money before they could get the thing up and running
