If all of your drab clothes somehow got lost (e.g. you went to a laundromat and they got looted when you left them unattended, your house caught on fire, or something like that),

What would you do? (poll above)

Voted both as I live in the world and need drab to make a living in that world.

Even though I voted that I would buy guy and gal clothing at this stage of my life, and being enfemme already 24 / 7 I would prefer to buy all female clothing with the emphasize on lingerie and pantyhose But I guess I would still need to buy some drag, just in case something unexpected happens. From Katrina

Except for the boots and socks I'm pretty much 'crossed' all of the time. But that's pretty easy for me to do, especially in the summer. I work outdoors and am skirted most of the time and have a great tan to prove I'm also topless all day every day.

I work within a very red neck segment of society, once retired and safely cashing my pension I know that my buying habits will be much different:D

It would have to be some of each. That is assuming only the clothes are lost, not the misconceptions of the general public as to which clothes are appropriate for which gender.

Here's my answer: I'd buy mostly girl clothes. I might buy a few drab outfits for the times when I need to present as a guy, but then again, if some of my girl clothes are gender-neutral enough for a guy to wear, then I'd just use those and not buy any drab clothes.

I do live in Vancouver, where 80% of the GGs wear pants anyway, and that's mostly what I'd be buying. Skirts aren't really my thing---I don't think my legs look that attractive.

Even though I would want only girl clothes, I would still have to buy both.

I voted buy some of each. Actually, I need to shop for new pants for when I am in drab. I have lost alot of weight, and most of my jeans looks WAY too baggy now. I recently bought 1 pair for 20$, and they look great on me I think (Well, better than my baggy jeans anyway).

Anyway, while I would likely worry about male clothes first, I would buy female clothes, but not too many, as I don't even have that many now.

Even if I'd be completely free to wear what I like, I'd probably always had a mix of men's and women's labeled clothes. To me it is not the label that counts (not anymore) but the style. Indeed I have a few quite feminine men's labled clothes and I have some rather boring women's labeled clothes.
Right now there is the need to costume (almost) all drab from time to time too.

I went with all guy cloths, its who I am and need them, Tina at the moment is just a fun part of my life, would get new stuff for her later.

I would get both. I have to have guy clothes for the majority of my time, but I really do want to expand my femme wardrobe as well.

I don't think my shopping habits would change any.

Since the drab clothes were the ones that were lost, and not the drag ones which I still have, I would replace the drab ones. I still need work clothes.

I would have to buy male/female clothing, male for everyday use etc. and female for when I want to dress up etc.

Yep, I too would have to get some mixed clothes. Gotta have some guy clothes for my day job. Afterall without my day job however would I be able to buy more silky things for Ellie?

I would get a mix of both. Won't say what percentage of femme vs. drab, though.
