This is my first post in this forum, so HI. It has always been to something for me to be just me Josephine; to young to know that is what you want, to many ways to hurt those that love you, to many responsibilities, to much work to do, etc. Now I have one question am I to old to be who I really am? Is it ever time not to have to be who we are not?

It's never too late to fix something that's broken.

I must agree with Holly on this, many people, including me, don't make the decision to actually do something serious about their gender displacement until their 40s or 50s for all kinds of reasons. "It's never to late to fix something that's broken". (I might have to steal that quote)

For me, I just coughed up $2000, took 3 days off, and ran off to Dr. Kimmel in Philadelphia, PA to get my testicles surgically removed (he doesn't require psych evaluations, but I knew what I wanted). Everything else naturally followed after that.
I had my testicles removed with the assumption I'd continue presenting as a male (albeit without testicles) but it ended up giving me the motivation to do more.

As Walter Matthau said in Out to Sea: "There's no such thing as too late . . . that's why they invented death." I love that quote 'cause that's how I feel about life too. Until the game is over, nothing is too late.

You can only ever be you... Anything else is acting.

Thank you ladies for your replies and support. You all understand and took time to let me know that other's do care. Thank you; it may not seem like much, but understanding and support is something that as human beings we do need.
Love and Kisses,
