Alternative wardrobe just in case?

Do any of you carry a "male" wordrobe with you; perhaps in the trunk of the car when traveling? I never have but I am considering it.

A CD friend of mine was arrested for speeding and hauled off to the magistrate's office to be arraingned. He was not treated very nicely. This was in Georgia.

I have been stopped here in Virginia for speeding. The Officer never said a thing....just wrote me up and "have a nice day."

Anyone ever had any similar experiences?

I do. I keep a pair of jeans and a couple of sweatshirts in my trunk for just that purpose.

I am real carfull when I drive but I also have been think of this. If my car breaks down, I would also put a pair of shoes in, I would hate to have to walk to far in heels.

I only made the transition from hidden femme wardrobe (stuffed in suitcases) to hanging wardrobe a couple of months ago. I've finally accumulated enough "casual" underwear that at the start of this week I resolved to stay in panties. I put my remaining 2 pair of boxers into the suitcase that used to be home to my femme wardrobe. Always imagined I would have to throw them out to realize my dream; but with that small act I felt something fall away. This morning I felt totally unfemme, not quite purge grade but close. It was a relief to step into my guys clothes. But I didn't even pause when it came to putting on my womens-boxers. I didn't feel a contradiction or squirm putting on the jeans or tee.

I'd like to think I have accepted my decision/resolution; but it could just be that its an old and tired fight, and this is a nicer place to be than the only place left, which is throwing out the last of my boys undies.

Whenever I plan to go out for the first time yes I will take an extra set of my guys clothes along with me.

I have a pair of old trousers and a shirt in the box I keep the jack in, to put on if I have to change a tire or do something else that might get automotive goop on one of my nice rayons. It's real easy to change from skirt or dress into trousers without flashing anybody.

Yes. I ensure that I can always manage a quick change back to drab when I am out. If going by car, male clothes are in the trunk. If on foot, a pair of flip flops, tshirt and shorts in my purse - along with makeup wipes.

I keep a pair of jeans, though they are women's, a polo shirt, socks and tennis shoes as well as makeup wipes in a small duffle in my vehicle. I also keep a pair of plain white cotton panties in case I'm wearing something more feminine and need/want to change. In cooler months I add a sweater and jacket.

I have no mens under wear. I always wear panties. I always wear either a bra or camisole (useful as suspenders). I have a few mens shirts and some mens jeans. The mens jeans require belts. I hate belts: I call them punishment for nothing. Surely you all know that women cross to the mens side of the store to find fit and look for the larger person. I cross to their side for just the same reason.

Once last year I was taken to the Emergency Room and had to take everything off and put on a hospital gown with the male attendent watching.
The last thing off was my Bra. I left the panties on. When I threw the Bra on the pile of clothes I said "This has nothing to do with why I am here."

Kip quickly became a friend. Am I lucky? Maybe so. Am I happy? Yes

I never carry male clothes with me,2 years ago I was in a minor auto accident,there I was wearing my nine west granny type 2 1/2 in heel boots,and the cops had to make an issue out of it.The woman who hit my car tried to blame me for the accident because of my boots,and her insurance company was brutal.

You betcha. Our cars ( my S.O.'s and mine) each carry an excersise bag that has a simple change of clothes, tennis shoes, and work gloves. Not just for the need of a "quick gender change" should that need ever arise, but in case of breakdowns, etc. We also carry a "Tyvek suit" (kind of a paper coverall) so that we can don the suit over our existing clothes - be it dresses or pants- to do simple things like change a flat, simple emergency repairs etc. without having to change. Oh yea, we also have a peperspray in each to put in the work clothes pocket in case an "unsavory" type stops to "help".

Ok lets see here, your stoped by the police infem, and you do have a change to drab, so you pull the car over, and atempt to change .
Bad thing you will bring a lot of attention to you quickly.
If its just a citaton it is was it is, if you have warrants well i guess will see you on cops.
The video that is taken fromm a police stop from thier crusier is pulbic infromation and has a way of showing up , just my :2c: i have not been stoped while infem but i do check for probal cause, IE: bad hedlight lis plate light tail light and most of all inspection, and drive sober big help in NJ.

It's interesting you should mention this, because recently it dawned on me, in a thoughtful moment, that I have never carried any guy clothes with me on any of the femme trips I've been on. Is this over confidence or stupidity? I don't know you tell me :D I fail to see what a change of clothes would do for me, I'd still have a ton of makeup on that isn't going to come off anytime soon.

I even went to San Fransisco for a weekend away a month or so ago and I still didn't pack a single boy item, although that was more of me forgetting to, rather than me wanting to. I used to think "what would happen if my car broke down or I had to change a flat?" or whatever, but in that situation I'd just call a breakdown service or change the flat myself. In the case of being stopped by the police, well I wouldn't care about them knowing I'm a cd, it'd be too late for that but being pulled off to the police station wouldn't be nice. That said, I'll still risk it, I'll just drive under the speed limit and hope for the best :D

I've never had the experience--in a trafic situation--but my guess is that when the blue lights are flashing in your rear-view mirror it's a little late to think about making a good first impression.

That said, the first time I drove en femme I carried a change of clothes. Now I never do. But then I rarely drive if my S.O. is available, and I almost never go out dressed unless escorted by a GG, my wife or my wife and a few of her friends. (What irony--afraid to go out alone! But a couple of bad experiences will do that, I guess.)

If I'm out driving enfemme then I have a set of male clothes along and visa versa..lol!! And for some reason, Karren is a much better driver than anti-Karren.....Always thought it was because we didnt want to get stopped but now I think that it's because the slower she drives, the longer she can remain enfemme!!! hehehe

I do as well. In case of a flat tire or other mechanical breakdown. Wouldn't want to get a nice skirt or blouse trashed. Besides I'd rather not by on the side of the road in a skirt or blouse. Just doesn't seem like a safe thing to do.

Not got one stitch of "male" clothing left, got rid of that about 16 months ago, so dont have any to carry with me.

It is all about how confident you are, and TBH if you had already been stopped/involved in an accident en-femme you have been clocked, so its too late. :happy:

Earlier this year I had to change a tire and did not have male clothing handy. So of course I changed it in my skirt and heels.

The strange thing for me was the people that stopped and asked if I needed help. All were couples, for what ever thats worth, but the fact that they stopped at all amazed me.

I have not had that experiance in guy mode. It seems people don't care about a guy in the same situation.

Guess I even fall into that way of thinking as I know I would be much more inclined to stop and help a female presentation.

i like to carry a jacket or two in the back seat of the car ... mainly because i get cold easily (lately)... but it also means that, like butterfly bill had said, you dont end up ruining something spiffy when you have to change a tyre or the like.

but as far as a change of clothes in case of a situation ... nope ..

i know that if the police here have got you for speeding or drink driving or the like, they want to book you and get back out on the road asap to get someone else breaking the law .. so you arent given time to go change clothes and wipe off makeup .. so having a change in the car wont really help much here.

the easy solution is to avoid breaking the law.
and if you arent comfortable driving in your chosen footwear, then take it off for driving purposes and put them on before you step out ..

ive been stopped several times for breath testing and never had a single problem from any officer ive encountered.

It would seem to me that you would have to be doing something REALLY bad to be "hauled off to the police station" when stopped by the boys (or girls) in blue. I have lived MANY years (don't even think of asking) and been stopped MANY times over my long life for many reasons from speeding to defective equipment to drunk driver checks. I have NEVER been "hauled off to the police station" for any reason. Does this really happen?? Maybe if you have outstanding warrents for your arrest. In that case it won't matter what you are wearing.

Drive carefully, don't speed, keep your car repaired and insured, be polite when stopped, and stop worrying.

I do think the idea of keeping a Tyvek overall and a pair of gloves in your trunk is a GREAT idea. Years ago, I would often fantasize about changing a tire as a girl and how would I protect my nice clothes. Now I keep my car maintained better (more income) but it still seems a good idea, dressed or drab, to be able to protect your good clothes.

Only when I am travling, other wise, I really don't, that is unless I have forgotten to take them out of the car. lol.
When I am just going out for the nite, knowing that I am comming home that same nite, I don't take any male clothing. That is unless you count the coveralls that I use when working on my car, which by the way are always in the trunk, just in case I have to change a tire or something.

I try to always keep some old clothes in the trunk for breakdowns or other emergencies.

I do also throw in some make-up remover when I'm going out en femme after hearing a story about someone else who had to get her car towed to the shop after a breakdown.

Once, during an overnight drive on a business trip, I was wearing lingerie, enjoying the trip. A state trooper pulled me over, for what described as 'driving in the passing lane'. he stated that in his state, the left lane was for passing, and he had observed me cruising in that lane. In actuality, he was in the median, and apparently saw a light inside my car, thinking that i was involved in some type of drug-oriented activity. What he had seen was me using a penlight to enjoy the sight of my slip & hosiery in the car as I drove.

He asked several questions regarding my destination, why i was driving there, why i was driving in the left lane, etc... As he looked into my car w/ his flashlight, he asked what i was wearing (there was also a travel bag of lingerie open in the passenger seat, quite obvious). I told him, as it was obvious, that i was dressed in lingerie.

He asked who the clothing belonged to. I told him it was my girlfriends. He asked why i was driving like that - i stated that "well, officer, i'm on an overnight roadtrip, so i thought i'd enjoy the time alone to wear some lingerie, something that i enjoy doing". He asked whether I thought she'd miss the clothing - i replied 'I don't know - i guess i'll find out when i get home'. He asked if i were gay, and if that was why i did this. I replied 'no sir - i'm not gay'. he asked 'then why do you do it?' I replied 'i don't know - i tried it once, and i liked it. i can't really explain it'.

he seemed a bit disturbed, stepped back & forth outside my window, then put his flashlght back in his belt, and said 'get out, mr. xxxx'. I said 'just a minute sir - let me put some pants on'. He said "I SAID, GET OUT OF HERE, MR. XXX! - DRIVE AWAY!". I said 'Yes Sir - Thank You.'. I drove away.

The rest of the trip was without incident, and I enjoyed the sunrise as I drove into the the city of my destination, still i lingerie, able to fully see & enjoy the sight of myself driving in a slip & hose.

But, i never leave for a drive w/o a change of clothes or shoes. There have been many times that i've had to change abefore returning home, due to neighbors, etc.

Sometimes i bring some guy clothing with me ,but like the thought of not being to do that,I never have to be forced to dress girly ,but do like the idea of dressing up and then being forced to stay dressed as a girl,either by having my guy things taken away or just not having them at all.I have been stopped while in a skirt and heels but wasnt hassled,but i hope i never get in an accident,or have car trouble
