Well when your in the house most of the time and you only have a few hours of dressing time I don't both painting my nails, but on those days that I can I like a dark red.

I typically just do my toes, usually a dark semi masculine shade, greens coppers or the occasional pink. my favorite is sinful colors "green bean" it coordinates with my frog tattoo

My wife hates to see me wearing nail polish. Sometimes I wear it when I have a day or two alone. My first and last pedicure I had metallic pink polish and it was clearly visible even with hose. This may sound strange but the more popular colors, blue , green, and espessialy the yellows make me think of nail fungus. YUCK!

Well, gotta love pinks and reds :) But I think a French is just about my favorite these days, goes with everything and just looks so classy :)

For toes though, anything goes! I just bought a neon color collection (by China Glaze), I don't know which one to use though ..... I can post a pic of the collection if anyone is interested.... a couple of pix below, from my current nail tech :)

My current favourites are Maybelline "Express Finish" Red Caviar & Mauve Petals. The Red Caviar is close to the shade of the lipstick in my sig pic.
I tend to go with traditional reds, but I recently bought a creamy pink colour by Maybelline called Bold Blush, which I think looks a bit too young for me, but I'm getting used to it.

When I have the opportunity my favorite is Sally Hansen "Charisma" followed closely in 2nd place is Sally Hansen "Heartbeat Frost" (Real deep red frosted).

I always wear a pale pink on my fingernails. Since I am in sales, and deal mostly with senior citizens, I can't get away with wearing pretty red polish there. However, my toes are always bright and pretty.:heehee: Manicure and pedicure every two weeks. My dear departed wife had a nice collection of polish, and I have really added to it. The reason I some myself is that the cosmetic outlet I go to has a larger collection than the Nail Salon.

Like some of the other ladies, I also layer a bright color with a sparkling metallic. Makes a real pretty, showy nail. I did that a lot in the summer, when I was wearing open toe sandals whenever I was not working. My feet got a lot of attention when I walked around in a Mall or elsewhere!:love:
