I've been living with women on and off for 11 years. I know makeup cost money, but HOLY COW! Today I spent over $200 USD at WalMart on makeup.

I'm getting my very first makeover tomorrow, but still $200! at a 'discount store'!?

Being a lady these days aint cheap that's for sure. I just spent $250 on clothes (Lane Bryant is my patron saint) over the past 10 days.

Krisy, you're right.

Makeup is expensive even at Wal Mart, I spent about $40.00 on it today myself. It does seem to last a bit, though. When I first started buying it, I thought to myself, "Wow, $9.00 for a small bottle of foundation?" But it does last, so it's not too bad (once you find what you like, hehe).

Of course, if you're buying everything you need at once it adds up.

Oh Yeah makeup and $$$$$$$$$

I had a full makeover earlier this year and after buying everything the S.A. suggested, I almost had to take out a second mortgage to pay for it.
The good part is that it does last. But, wow is it ever costly to buy.

Krys

Its no different in the UK. I spent the equivalent of about $200 a few months ago when first stocking up on make up. But, yes it does last. Problem is the clothes also cost. In the last week, I have spent about $120 on clothes and $70 on stockings (my obsession, its allowed). I have to cut down or take up something cheaper like golf or poker.

I am going through that stage right now.

I am also seriously considering claiming Kenix as a dependent on my tax return.
