Doobie Sister Weekend!!

Just got back from a wonderful weekend at Rexy's house (Whitewater, WI) where the Doobie Sisters got together and had fun!! We welcomed Beth to the group and gave her the name of Perky! Michelle came from Michigan to party with us. On Friday night we had a slumber party and danced until the wee hours--I in my pink nightgown and robe (see pic). Then on Saturday we all got dressed up and went to our favorite consignment shop (Elkhorn, WI) where we were welcomed by Carrie who popped a cork from a bottle of white zinfandel in our honor. Shopping there is always more fun with a glass of wine in hand!! Then it was on to the grocery store to get pizza fixins and I made pizza for all of us. That night Rexy popped the DVD of the Robin Williams HBO special into the DVD player and we laughed until our jaws hurt! Beth brought some old clothes from her former wife (who was about my size--yay!!) and I got a new outfit for free (white blouse with ruffled cuffs and pretty black skirt--see pic). Thanks Rexy, KellyAnn, Beth (The Doobie Sisters--Ho, Rum Bunny and Perky!). I love my sisters!

I used to have relatives in Elkhorn, been there many times when I was a kid, used to go swimming in Lake Wandawega with my cousins.
