Love them
My shoulders are already broad enough!
don't care

I personally don't like them

Shoulder pads are for football players.

Marilyn Monroe's secret: smallest shoulders in Hollywood. Made the rest of her look, er, bigger.

This was suppose to be a poll but I goofed...oh well

I just got a lovely dress at a garage sale, but it has shoulder pads. I am thinking about removing them

BTW I figure out how to make a poll...maybe next time!

Good for us if they become fashion again.
We'll look marvellous even without padding :p

To pull them out of the clothes is a lot easier than to sew them in. :D

Yep, just what I need. More prominent shoulders. Now if the dresses also came with instant 5:00 shadow, we'd really be on to something! ;)

They are goofy, my wife removes them from her dresses.

Tina, you would need some.
Dresses just suit you too well (honestly)

Hi Carroll,
For a moment I thought your fem and masc sides were having a fight about shoulder pads, giggle.

Carroll,
Don't forget that a dress or jacket that is designed to hang well on the shoulders with pads in, is not going to hang as well without the pads. You can remove them of course, but you may have to re-sew the shoulers, or put the pads back in. Don't throw them away!

I have some suit coats that I have left them on in, but I see no functionality in pads in a cotton knit or rayon dress, that just look like two lumps on your shoulders when you put it on. I always take them off.

didn't shoulder pads cease to be popular sometime in the 80's?
