Facials?

Does any one use facial mud/masks? My roommate told me I need them to soften my face - "it's to rough" or "I don't have that radiant glow". I don't think they're necessary.

I tried one of my wife's once when she was away. Scared the heck out of me. I put it on my face and it immediately hardened like a rock. It felt like I'd rubbed superglue all over my face. But I left it on the prescribed time and then washed it off with warm water. WOW, my face never felt so smooth!

I want to do it again but haven't found the right product.

I have a professional facial at least once a year. It removes dead skin & really cleans out your pores.
This is along with my daily regiment of cleansing & moisturizing. I use Merle Norman daily cleasing lotion & their moisturizing serum.
