In fact she has three problems, one at a time though.
First, a fourth new wig is urgently needed and the colour I chose for the ones that I have had in the past has always been that of my natural hair.
Should I change ? If so to what ? (Not red that is for sure)
Should it be longer ? (No, not really)
Never mind (too much) the mini-skirted me in "Big Scottish Houses", my need is to present in a city environment series of pics.
All opinions welcome...

I would personally keep it as near to your natural colour as possible as for lenght, you look ok with the lenght you have in your pics.

my natural hair color is a dark brown, but if you look at my avatar, the wig I use is a creame caramel. I tried a nature hair color but it just didnt look right.

I wear wigs of any colour, ie how the mood takes me. ie I have blondes, brunnettes, and redheads, of different styles and lengths. the only certain thing is I will never look the same the next time I dress!

My natural color now is mostly flesh tone. :heehee:

The wig I have on now is just a little darker than what was my natural color.

:2c: I think a slightly darker shade would look good on you.
Why not try it? Variety is the spice of life

My wig color is close to my natural color without the gray. I am not ready for a gray wig yet. :D

My wigs are the same color as my natural hair, that way it matches the color of the two furry caterpillars that are nesting over mine eyes:eek:

Hi Samantha.. Strange everyone wants to tell you what they do lol But to answer your question all I need say is that a wig shop is your next port of call. Photos don't do it, and some good advice or your own opinion at the salon will pay dividends that we can't be sure to equal.
It has to be done babe. Try em all lol
Good Luck and lets see how you got on . :)

Sorry Hon, I'll never tell when the "curtains" match the "carpeting". I'm leaving that to everyone's imagination. "Does she or doesn"t she?" Only her "hairdresser" knows for sure. Ericka Kay

I think the hair colour/styles you have chosen in your various albums suit you perfecly and you look absolutely natural. My own view is that as a crossdresser you need to blend into your environment and this is done by having hair that appears natural .

My own feminine hair colour is a little fairer than than when I am in my male personna but not much

Sam-antha - First, you look fabulous.

Second, although I do not have any wigs yet, the ones I am interested in (and looking at) are my natural color (a graying dark brown).

This is just in case the wig has a problem and lets my natural hair show (the problem will be less noticable).

Sorry Paula, but that advice is not for me I would never, never be seen with a grey wig. So.
I have used my natural colour in the past, although the last one was rather browner than the original rather blondr me.

The colour and length in the photos suit you very well. If yuo are looking to change I think a move away form something that suits you so well would need careful thought and maybe quite a few tryouts and so ellaine's suggestion of a wig shop makes sense. BTW can I make the case for red. Its a bit risky but it can work.

Elle, risks are nice, but not a red risk, please.
Ellaine, A visit to such an establishment is a reasonable idea but there are only standard hair people around here, I think.
My mind still cannot get around theidea of someone my age, with my wrinkles wandring into a haridresser's :o and getting attention:eek: .
I mean the wanted sort of attention:straightface: .
We will see...

Mine is close to what my hair used to be naturally. It's amazing because I went to a hairdresser who specializes in wigs (hair replacement systems, he says) and he thought the color matched me well. I didn't tell him it was very close to my natural color (years ago when my hair had color and when I had hair covering more of my head). A couple of other colors were nice, too, but I really loved the one we picked. Advice: go to a good salon or wig shop and let them help you. P.S. You look fantastic in those photos. If I saw you walking toward me like that, I wouldn't think anything but that you were GG.

Thank you Sherri, but the problem starts when we get closer together, I am too old for a girl.
Anyway, without touching donw at a wig shop here are three poss (?)s. what do you lot think ? (Wish I looked that young, but then do we not all have wishes ?
Please !

Dear Samantha and Girls
A light blonde will always suit you Samantha, but then so will darker shades tending to brown.
And as you say red is not an option especially if you wear red often as in your pic.
Whatever you do about hair colouring and wigs start planning for when your hair starts to go grey.

Samantha,

Your pictures look great. As far as the wig style, I am partial to the bottom one in the selections you show.

Grey thoughts, OMG No.
Anyway I am thick-silvered up there and I am with *gold teeth. (* Gaelic grammer that is)
I will stay the variety of Blonde that you know me with that is for sure. Might lighten up a bit and smile tho'.
