I have many many doctors. I often go as He or She as I feel. All of my current doctors have seen both. Are there any of you out there?

The doctor I presently have acts afraid of me,he sits in his chair on the other side of the room,he wont touch me,mormons are so enlightened and open hearted

He or she is the last thing I worry about when going to the doctor. I'm more worried about any medical problems that may be effecting me. And I'm glad he is more concerned about my health too...BJ

Snookums, if I was in your shoes, I'd request a different doctor from the VA, they are supposed to treat you professionally, If you're asked for a reason, tell them that you are not being treated professionally for your condition. The VA treats many CDs and TGs on a regular basis, they are well versed with all the issues involved and will, if they think it is warranted, prescribe and monitor HRT as well. My VA doctor has been very professional with this whole TG thing, even made me an appointment with the Endo at the Milwaukee VA medical center.
You should ask for an appointment with Mental Health Services to talk about your depression issues. You can discuss your various issues, including not being treated properly by your doctor with the person they assign as your therapist. Just tell the therapist that the way you are treated by the doctor causes you stress and depression, I'd bet you wouldn't be telling the therapist anything other that the truth there.

If you see where i'm from I too am wondering if you are from Utah. Utah mormans are the worst, really. Although I haven't really had any problems with them. I used to go to my therapest dressed. Sometimes I think thats the only reasone I went. I don't go to the DR. much, but will. Don't know if it will be dressed or not. Probably will. HE HE HE.

I orginally posted this in the depression group.
All my docs had a good laugh or did not care or got used to LeAnn
The one who cared was a shrink anrp.
Now I have a new shrink. She fixed my meds. So I am back to where I was for 25 years as a healthy bipolar.

I wear panties 24/7, so when I go to my uroligist and he says "drop them", meaning my trousers, he gets a good look at my satiny Hanes panties! Sometimes the nurse is there to take a blood sample, and she sort of smiles, in admiration I believe! After all, I only wear the nicest, sexiest panties! The other docs examine me for other things with trousers on! To tell the truth, I get a real kick out of going to the uroligist!

All my doctors except my oncolagist are female and thier staffs have no problem and i make thier day. I have allways been good to them give me a good report and i leave a case of wine at chirstmas, i do how ever use the clause that they not disclose my med condition with my wife .
Every thing eles is fair game.:hugs: Nadeen

Three out of five of my docs are women. The others are the nephrologist and urologist. My wife almost always goes with me to appointments to listen for the messages that I miss. So she gets to see doctors or nurses find my silky underware too. The only ones she does not always go with me to are my dermotlogist or my shrink. The demotoligist sometimes has to move the underware aside to see the rest of my skin. We have no problem with that.
