Hi Ladies,
Does anyone know where I can get size 17 womens shoes? Either pumps or heels. I've looked all over the internet and can't seem to find my size. I want to start wearing shoes with my outfits so maybe I'll take my first step going out dressed fem.

Don't think I've ever come across anyone that carries size 17's!!!! You might have to have them custom made... WOW. Ever think of shoe making as a hobby....over and above your current hobby? :).
Might even be easier to get foot reduction surgery, and cheaper..

If your going by the normal shoe charts, they can be wrong is some cases. Looking at the chart I wear a size 8 1/2 mens shoe, the chart says I should be wearing a size 10 1/2 womens shoe. I bought a pair of size 10 1/2 pumps. When i put them on, I have so much space behind my heel, I could put two fingures in the place. When I decided to buy some 3" slingbacks, I went and tried on some and found that I had to to go down in size. I kept going down in size and discovered that a size 9 fit perfectly.
Best way is to try them on first. Also remember that you can wear open toe heels that are at least 2 sizes smaller than normal too. Shoes are like dresses in my mind. I can wear anywhere from a size 10 - 14 dress/skirt. It depends on the brand and where they are made.

Sizes vary a lot. I wear a man's 14/15, and have found women's shoes in sizes 15, 16 and 17 that fit me.
Actually, I only have one pair of 17's, and they're a bit large on me.
As might be expected, selection is very limited in these sizes, but it's way better than the days when I was starting out, and there was no Internet, and the biggest women's shoes that you could get without having custom shoes made were 14's.
For some 17's. see http://www.bigandbeautifulshoes.com/

For some 16's, see http://www.beverlyheels.com/incEngine/?content=main

See http://www.brazilianorchid.com.br/ for 15.5's that fit me pretty well.

If you check the Shopping Sites forum, there are links to sites that have photos of panties, and those are apparently permitted, so why not in this instance?
I'd really like some clarification on this.

The electricque boutique has shoes upto 16. I am a mens 11.5, but find that a womans 12 fits me, sometimes even a 11 will fit. I swim in a 13

Claire wears a woman's 15 and is 6'4", so it's a tough balance of picking from the available shoes and not getting too high of a heel. We feel your pain!
Glamourboutique.com had the same shoes as a lot of the other stores but for less money. Check them out too :)

My feet are men's 13, sometimes I can get away with a 12 depending on the style. I need to start buying at least a few pairs of femme shoes. My major issue is not the length of my feet, but the width.

The really important thing is to make sure you are getting the right size. Otherwise, you will be uncomfortable, or wasting your money. or may both. Go to a shoe store and ask the clerk to measure you for women's shoes. You can make up any excuse you want. I went into a Nordstrom's, which for those who don't know, is a really high class Department store that specializes in shoes. I told the man who came up to me that I wanted to be measured for ladies shoes. He asked me why and I said because I am going to wear them. He just grinned, measured me, and then sold me abour $200.00 worth of ladies shoes. We were both happy!
