I'm getting ready to buy my first pair of femme jeans. Went to K-mart and tried on a pair of Levi stretch size 14S They fit perfectly, but they are 88% cotton. Anyone have any idea what size I should buy to compensate for shrinkage. I'm thinking of 16S.

I've heard of washing them and and then letting them dry on your body but I'm not ready for that.

Oh, the joys of being a girl.

I don't think the 16's will shrink enough, 88% cotten tho, just wash them in cold water and dry on medium heat, take out before fully dry and put on and stretch them back...

Wash cold, hang to dry.

Um... Thats the beauty of stretch jeans and tops.

They really do not shrink, and if they do they stretch back and are plenty comfortable after a few minutes of wear.

I would suggest drying them on low if you can't hang them to dry. It will make them last longer as high temps. are not good for spandex.
