Holloween Wigs

I have been wanting to get dressed and finally get a pic of myself.
I can have my sister do my makeup and dress nicely. but what about my hair. I don't have a wig nor the money to really go out and buy one.
was wondering if I can make one of these cheep wigs you see for sale this time of year. I do believe I will end up buying a long one and cutting it down to a good length.
and yes ill put it up for you all to see.

also what other thing should i look at to look my best.

my huge and i main huge problem that i have is no credit cards of any kind. same with check cards. i have seen first hand what a woman and a card can do and fear i would do the same. so as much as i can. i use the net to window shop. then send my sister in to buy:heehee: . but a wig this time of the year from a store like walmart or kmart. no one cares or thinks anything of it. will im at it am going to see what else i may be able to snag up.

but i was just thinking it may look to fake. im growing my hair out. but my hair line has moved back and thinned out alot. so i really do need a wig, if not a hat.

Get the wig from the party store rather than Wal Mart or the dollar store. Some of these wigs have lace fronts and are of surprising quality----usually discontinued or dumped higher quality synthetic hairpeices selling for only about 15-20 dollars.

well i did it today, went to the party shop (party on!)
they had alot there but all of it looked way to costumy. i kind of had an idea that this would happen. they where not all that expesive but they did look kinda cheep. picked up 2. one short red and a long brown (naturel color). took them home tried them on and found there way to big. all and all i only spent $30 on the 2 of them so i dont care that much. some hair pins and they should be more then fine for the pics.
coming out of that place really opened me up. next thing i know i was in Kmart buying hair stuff (for me not the wigs) i did not seem to care what i had grabed. next thing i know i was standing in the womens section looking at shirts. wow did not get one though:sad: i really half to watch my spending.

I have used costume wigs most of my dressing career and find them to be fine. The look is great but the texture may not be that believable.

Great option for us gurls on a budget!

i bought a halloween wig and it looks fine
they have so many different ones now to choose from

Paid $5.00 for this one last year.....might want to try a different color!!! LOL

I use the Halloween wigs ALL the time----U do need to be a bit selective in the party store though, and shop in OCTOBER before Halloween if possible when the selection is larger. While MOST are "Costumey" a few aint bad at all and are as good quality as I have seen in the discount beauty shops. You just have to look around a bit to find the best buy.

These are all important for a good appearance.

Although Karrens' hair color is JUST perfect for her. I suggest a different color for you.

anyway i really need to get infront of a mirror and see how a look for myself. this hand mirror is not cutting it. as you can see in Kerren's pic it that really looks fake with the glare coming off of it. same the 2 i got. just there more natural color. the other thing is there hot and the hairs (if you really can even call them that) have not control going verywhere. well as i said ill half to see later. most likely this is not something im going to around town in.

there are some wig shops around but i know wigs can cost and it's still above me to go walking into one. plus i think my mother knows the lady that runs the one. though im out to my mother she does understand it.
