One night me and some friends went to a local gay nightclub called Celebrities. I had very long ash blonde hair with baby blonde highlights pulled up into a messy ponytail under an army trucker hat, a bright orange corset, a great pair of jeans tucked into moccasin-type boots, and a black purse with white poka-dots and a rhinestone buckle on it. It was a fierce outfit. Anyways, we went to this club and apparently it was MANdonna night and I just didn't know.

As part of this fiesta, they had lots of Britney Spears-inspired stuff going on, since this was when Britney was still very popular and had the whole Madonna-make-out-session-curious-release thing going on. So, they had the Britney Spears Look-alike contest which they had already held at all the straight clubs and drugstores.

Well, of course, the MC calls all these drag queens and GG's onto the stage who have spent HOURS making these Britney Spears costumes, which I have made one of myself but was not wearing at the time, and whoever gets the most cheers, wins this giant gift basket of Curious perfume products. I am watching in the audience, my friends telling me to get up there while I adamantly refuse and tell them to shutup and watch.

The next thing I know, there is a spotlight on me.

The MC says: "You! Who do you think you're kidding? You're not Paris, you're Britney. Get the heck up here." ("heck" was not their word of choice but for the sake of politeness I have changed it.)

I got on the stage.

I was the last of all the contestants to be judged.

The crowd went CRAZY. SOOOO loud.

I won. The girls holding the contest and handing out samples said I looked more like Britney than all the GG's in all the contests they had been a apart of so far, and took a photo with me.

I went outside and called my mom on a payphone to tell her the news, and a man came nervously up to me, hands loaded with pamphlets. "Um...excuse me," he said. "can you have a look at these and get back to us? Thanks."

Then my hands were full of pamphlets and he was jumping back into his car and was gone. The pamphlets were promotional info, basically asking me to audition for heterosexual pornographic videos.

That has got to be the wildest, most exciting night I've ever had.

At least in terms of crossdressing. ;)

The last part was funny because I was happy I passed, but I felt insulted as a woman. :P

I intimidated him somehow. It may just have been the act of going up to a stranger and not knowing what their reaction will be and therefor wanting to get it over with and get out ASAP that intimidated him. I did look hot though.lol There are more times that I have to fight with people to CONVINCE them I'm a guy than one would imagine possible. Even when my friends show pictures of me in DRAB to their other friends, everyone has a tendancy to think I'm a girl. -_-
