I toyed with a few titles for the thread "Need to talk" sounded too serious, "I wanna talk" sounded childish, "want someone to talk to" sounded way to needy.
Anyway, I think I am suffering from a lack of girlie chat!
My work colleague/friend who knows about me was back at work after a few days absence and we got chatting over IM and the subject rapidly turned to girlie things and it was so nice!
I even try and talk about girlie things with the only other friend that knows but somehow *he* isn't interested :heehee:
I have always found it easier and more fun to talk to girls and now it's something I really want to do more as it helps me feel like Fiona more and I can also get lots of tips on clothes/makeup etc
So to coin Ms Rivers catchphrase: "Can we talk?" :heehee:

They are rather good for shopping though. I have one who is patient as a saint and will stand quietly holding my bags while I hunt the racks. A pizza and a playstation game and he's happy :)

Now everyone is going to want to borrow him for their shopping trips! That's a bargain price for shopping-carrying services ... also I guess it's probably only a tiny, tiny fraction of the overall cost of the trip to the shops anyway :heehee:

I'd really love to keep talking to you about shoes but I can feel my credit card melting at the very thought of it!
I wanted to buy some boots in Asda (the credit card has refused to let me go anywhere near serious shoe shops ... well okay, I'm too scared to in all honesty which is maybe a good thing) but they didn't fit :(
So I bought a nice pair of shiney, black, peep-toe, 3" heels, with white piping along the edges, instead ... oh and then went and bought some black boots with only 1" heel anyway even though I really wanted to wait for something a bit higher!
I think I'd be dangerous if I ever overcome my fears of going out dressed and shopping in 'proper' shops!

I have always found it a lot easier to talk to girls than guys. When we have a family gathering I usually in the kitchen area with my mom, sisters, family friends, while all the guys in the family hang out in the living room watching some sport on the tube.

I prefer to be in with the girls having a chat, rather then out with the boys standing around the BBQ. But it is not long before I have to join them, other wise it looks very 'Suspect'. and what do they talk about? Cars (Boring) Football (Really Boring) or Cricket (Please, some one shoot me!)
