You're only as old as you feel, Hon. I'm 59 and damn proud of it. Ericka/Rich

Changed the date but since it is significant to me. Kept the year of birth since I'm proud of how old I am. I am dying to turn 30. Something complete and philosophic about it. Make sense?:D

I try to never lie unless it is to keep from hurting someone. If you start a lie, then you have to keep track of that lie, what you said and to whom. After a while it can take a life of it's own, and keeping track can get complicated. Too much work for this girl! Truth be told, the truth is alot easier to managr, as there ain't nothing to keep track of.

All of 68 but wish I could do a repeat of my life starting at about 20. I'd be a female if I could start over.

Straight up I, meaning "Chris" am 42 years old as of June 27th 2006. I have no shame because a lot of people guess me to be in my early to mid thirties

My profile is accurate, but I don't know that it bothers me overmuch to know that the profiles of others are not.

For me, this forum is principally about support. It's not a lie detector test. To be sure, I think that most CDs will maximize the benefit of this forum if we can be as honest about ourselves as we can bear to be. However, if someone would rather conceal or misstate some of their details (particularly if out of shame, self-consciousness or desire for privacy), I'd rather have that person here, participating and hopefully benefiting from such a great community.

That said, I do have problems with other sorts of deceptions: among them misappropriating the image of another person, fabricating experiences in threads and CDs pretending to be GGs. Those "lies", to my mind, adversely affect the ability of this forum to be open and supportive to the CD/TG community. But fibbing on the age in your profile? Nah...

I used my correct date of birth but had it hidden until my last birthday. Then I decided not to hide it. Like Karen, I am 54 and feel like 25. In male mode people think I'm younger, mid to late 40s; in female mode, a little younger. I love playing hockey too, Karen.

I don't like lying about anything but sometimes I find it necessary to avoid hurting someone. Avoid actually means delay. As Lilygirl says a lie can take on a life of its own.

My profile is accurate except that I had a birthday recently and am now 69. Also, my avatar is me, but I have changed my appearance a little since it was taken. I have grown my hair and no longet wear that wig. Now to the 'meat' - - - I dress very young, short minis, fishnets most of the time, etc. If I could get away with it I would dress @ high school girl age, in nothing by those oh so cute schoolgirl jumper type outfits with those scandalous short skirts and thigh highs. When I am dressed my libido makes me feel like I am in my early thirties. There is DEFINATELY a sensual component to my CDing!

Funny, nobody ever told me that. Or maybe they did and I didn't hear it because I'm getting deaf with age.

I wish when I started that I had lied about my age. 38 or even 39 would be much better than 44! I would just be doing my best to be passable since almost every GG I know around my age lies about it!

Can't tell ya how many girls I dated back in my GG chasing days as a guy would lie about their age...but after a while would fess up! :tongueout

But my real age has been up on all my profiles too long to lie now. I honestly think I could get away with it. People are surprised at my age when they meet me, my makeup artist said guys skin holds up longer than GGs. So trannies in their 40s can look actually younger that GGs the same age. Also she says foundation makeup takes off 5 to 6 years!

My 62's accurate too, and like others, I'm proud that I look a lot younger; well I think so anyway, and I don't care what anyone else thinks!

Is there a trend here? Most of us CDs think, or have been told, that we look a lot younger than our real age. Does the CD gene also slow down the aging process? That's another plus for being a CD, as if we need another good reason for CDing!

Meh, I've never felt a need to fudge on my age.

Besides, I think I've stated my theory on aging here before:

If age is a state of mind, and I've lost my mind, I'm ageless dammit! :D

Hmm, would be 35 now, not sure what I put in my profile (probably 34), guess I should change it.
Have been told many times I look to be 25-28 in guy mode.
Like everyone else, I feel younger, especially when dressed.
