How many clothes do you have?

Hi all,

I'd seen a few (closed) posts about this subject, and am wondering what your ladies' inventory looks like. No, this isn't a contest of any sort, but it might be fun to see what folks have in the closet. I've been collecting for about 15 years, and have never had a complete purge.

Me, approx, as these are just guesses:

120 panties, mostly thongs.
15 bras.
5 garter belts.
1 corset.
20 misc. lingerie items like waist cinchers, slips, thong bodysuits.
15 dresses, day and evening.
5 nighties.
15 pairs of stockings, no pantyhose.
15 tops/blouses.
20 skirts.
5 pairs of pants, including 1 pr. jeans.
1 belly dancing outfit.
3 yoga/aerobics outfits.
10 articles of various cycling clothing.
5 pairs of heels.
4 pairs of gloves.
plus forms/nubras/makeup and a few jewelry items.


GAAAAHHHHHH! Time to make a donation to Goodwill!

p.s. (later add), a few inexpensive wigs too.

I didnt go count everything but I don't have as much as my wife says I have, but not as much as I would like.

Contrary to popular thinking...I have a smallish wardrobe. I buy a lot but don't keep them long. I tire of certain clothes and usually donate then to friends.. I think I'm more enamered with shopping for womans clothes over wearing them!! Lol

I don't know but I do know that it is a LOT.

Every closet and dresser drawer is stuffed to over flowing. Every door has a clothes hanger on it thats bending under the weight. Every flat surface has clothes piled on it. Not to mention the shoes, boots and bags.

And then there is the male stuff trying to find a place to live. And my wife's stuff as well.

Arrrgh!!!!

OK. So I just went to the store (in male mode of course but I was wearing very bright red nail polish) and bought two very large storage bins. One for male stuff and one for female stuff. All the summer stuff is going into storage and I'll be culling the stuff I don't want anymore during the sort out.

Just don't expect me to inventory it all. Life's just too short for that.

I hear ya,

It can all get very expensive. I don't have kids yet, and for the past few years am fortunate to have a decently paying job, so have more disposable income than I might have otherwise. I do shop only sales, but do admit I've spent much more on girly clothing over the years than I could have, or maybe should have.

Yikes, gots too many. Even with that, I never have anything to wear. Now, where have I heard THAT line before? Can't seem to recall. Anyway, I lost count a long time ago. If my wardrobe includes the number of wigs I have, forget it.:happy: Ericka

30 or so panties - enough to make a month without laundry if i MUST
6 bras.
1 garter belts
0 corsets
2 full slips, 2 half slips misc.
7 dresses, day and evening.
2 nighties.
10 or so tights, one pair expensive nylons if I need them, one fishnet stockings
5 or so tops/blouses
10 sweaters
15 skirts about even between long hippies ones and short club ones
1 pairs of pants, including 1 pr. jeans.
0 belly dancing outfits
1 swim suit
1 pairs of heels, 2 ballet flats, 2 cons.
