This past Saturday I received an email from one of my best friends which I had in high school. This was sent via classmates.com. I joined that a few years ago and haven't done anything with it since. I saw this individual last in 1982 when he was in Navy basic training. I was a hospital corpsman assigned to the bootcamp clinic and he was there for "sick call".
So his email was one of those kind you get from somebody you haven't seen in a long time. How's this, you still do that, blah blah blah.
At the very end he states, "My name is now Jessica. I hope you didn't just drop something". I had to read that twice.
So I replied that I was ok with the name change. And sent a link to my yahoo profile.
Maybe it was something in the Milwaukee water back then... :tongueout

Hmmm . . . I went to high school in Wisconsin too, but not Milwaukee. It's probably whatever they put in Miller beer. It's funny you mention Classmates.com. I've been thinking of going on there and making an announcement to my class. My 30th reunion is next year and after much consideration I've decided not to attend. I don't think these people are ready for the new me. :eek:

I too joined Classmates.com several years ago but I haven't received any messages like that. Would be neat though....

We have a similar thing over in the UK called Friends Reunited. I've joined and have never had anything like that from anyone. I think I would fall off my chair if I did!!
