Might I suggest you combine both suggestions. Open the door and then one foot in front of the other, then reverse. The other foot in front. Might I suggest going out at night. Maybe to a drive thru, McDonalds are open late. Then maybe a stop at a 7-11 store, there you have to go in to get some smokes or a Slurpy. The next one is a trip thru the drive thru in day light, maybe for breakfast, but better for lunch. Then you're ready for a shopping trip to Lane Bryant. They are very CD friendly. After that, you're ready to face the world, except those damn teenage girls.<LOL> Have a lot of fun going out. Remember, most people won't know who you are, when you are dressed...BJ

Myself, I never try to pass. I'm just a guy with a sense of style. I go out in broad daylight, it's probably the safest. Depending on what you wear may or may not get you a comment. Most people will leave you alone. On two occations I got comments on my toe nail polish. One guy who was covered with tatoos all up his arm and neck wanted assurance that it was the result of a prank. He was uncomfortable, of course I would never get my body covered with tatoos. The other time a store worker commented on my nail polish, I still don't know how he meant it. But that is the worst anyone has ever said. You may get an occational stare or second glance. Of course, your milage may vary, and much of it may depend on what part of the country you are from.

how do you go out ?
Such an open question! I go out the same way as I've always done, dressed.
Mind you I think there are laws about going out in the buff

I'd say a big city, where people generally are too busy to apy attention to you. In a small town people tend to know more of other people's business.
