Read Nina's thread "Out Alone Dressed". Some people here give some advise as to going out. I hope this helps.

Hi Kerryanne, Happy New Year to you also. Fear of the unknown is a natural emotion. If you have not come "out" yet, of course there is anxiety concerning acceptance of friends and family that don't know. I suppose everyone that is out has gone through that emotinal roller coaster. On the flip side, you have the anxiety of being caught, frustration of not being able to be yourself etc....
No easy answeres here, but I will say when the time is right for "you", don't set your expectations too high, I don't think a non-dresser could ever "understand" a x-dresser, this is something they have never experianced. But I do think the goal of acceptance can be achieved. Of course not by everyone, but your true friends and family that love you have a greater chance of acceptance over time.
I do not want to sound negative about comeing out, just be realistic. My only hope for you is that you can be yourself and be happy.
Love,
Vickie :)

As you have probably read in previous posts, several girls have came out to family/friends and have been well recieved. Also several of us have gotten up the nerve to go out dressed and had good results.
I have NO doubts that this forum and the support offered here-in has given us this courage.
Read, post, relax, blossum into the beautiful flower you were meant to be.
