I was fifty - seven when I become Katrina 24/7, that was eighteen months ago. I have a very serious physiological need to dress, if I couldn't, at least once in awhile, I might go off the deep end. From Katrina - who is not crazy.

i'm 43 and have been dressing on and off now since I was about twelve. It's a little more intense now than it was then and it has transformed from a sexual thing to an emotional thing. I can't explain that part.

I am not shy to say it was my 43rd birthday 4 days ago and I have been dressing in a very very minor way since I was 8. I seem to think about dressing each and every day of my life and I seem to want to share my life with someone close to me more and more but just do not have the courage to take that step. A step I think I need to make even after ALL these years.

I'm 57 and have been dressiing of and on since age 11. Looks like many of us started before the internet that allowed us to be able to tell the world about in a forum like this one. I appriciate all of you in your efforts to be feminine. I just wish I would have known more about crossdressing at an eariler age to have been able to make some other choises in my life.

I am 61. I have been going out in skirts for 5 years. I started when I was about 15 or 16 (rather late). I kept doing it for a few years. After that I didn't even think about it for 20 years. I started again when I was about 40. After about 15 years of being in the closet, I decided to do what I wanted to do and not let other peoples opinion dictated my life. It was GREAT :cheer:

I'm 37, I was 5 or so when all this started.

There were some long gaps in there though. I went about 5 years in my twenties without dressing at all.

But, like the Cat in the Hat, this always comes back...

I'm 43 yrs and been crossdressing on and off since I was 12 yrs. I went thru a big period of dressing in the early 90's and again now over the past 18mths in particular. I can't see me going back to a "quiet period" as i'm really in girl mode at the moment. Seems to me that as I get older, the more I want to dress fulltime!

Started when I was 12 or 13, didn't know why, but was attracted to lacy underthings, etc just beause it felt so natural. So, I guess, "Still Crazy After All These Years."

I am 50. Earliest I remember starting to dress was when I was about 9 or 10. Started wearing my mothers lingerie and anyone elses I could get my hands on. Seriously started to dress fully about 8 years ago and it has been none stop since then. My wife is very supportive and that is what has made it so much easier for me. We even go out together sometimes when I am dressed for the evening.

Hi, No big deal here, Male I am 50, Female I am 30. Makeup can do wonders for us girls, although I really don't think I can pass now. I don't know when I started, very eary I guess, I know I used to look at all the ladies clothes in the Aldens catalog and dream I was wearing such things, I used to put on my sisters clothes when nobody was around. The first Girls things I had was a discarded pair of Pantyhose, I don't know why they were thrown, but I ended up with them.

I'll be 62 on Oct 30,
Tried on some of my Mothers things when I was around 9 or 10, kinda stopped around 14. Started again with wearing underwear, ( I know I'm not suppsoed to say PANTIES) around 15 yrs ago and proceeded to stockings, and about two years ago graduated to bras. This past year I've purchased outerwear on my own and have come out to quite a few SAs about my buying habits.
Almost fully "out" on the home front. She "knows" but hasn't seen me fully dressed yet.

Hi,

I'm 36.
First dressed at 12, though I had female feelings before that. Luckily had a friend who was supportive, so I didn't freak out about it. Bought my first bra at about 17. Been regularly wearing female stuff under my male costume since around 20. Wishing I was female for a long time.

I am 31, be 32 in a couple of weeks and I have dressed since I was about 4-5. My oldest memory I remember wearing my stepmom's shoes. Too big of course but she thought it was cute. Later in life when she caught me she didn't think it was so cute. But I think she made me the person I am today so guess I wouldn't trade the tramatic times as a kid for any thing. Well maybe if she would have accepted it things would have been different. Maybe I would have embraced Lacey earlier on in life and not at the age of 29. Huggs, Lacey.

OK about my history.
I am still 32 years young.
I developed a fascination with Pantyhose around 3 yrs. of age "thanks to Mom". I started wearing them seceretly around 10. In my Early teens around 14, "I think", Mom started doing a Cameo Buisness, (kinda like AVON = But selling and doing Lingerie house parties), I had FULL access to her "show off items that the ladies would look at and try on. I have been addicted to the Fem. "feel and look" ever since. When I was 19 I worked at a thrift store for some Community Service = An ABSOLUTE DREAM! I bought around 20 items in one day. I really woke up when I did that, and I have not stopped buying Fem., clothes from that day on.. I have not dressed in public yet, and I am just now experimenting with makeup, with some great results so far! My wife now knows about my interests, after 9 years of marriage, and seems to be OK with it so far, but has not seen Melora as of yet.. It will happen soon.. Maybe even with her advice and participation! ::p
P.S. It is great to see other in my age group on this thread as well as CD veterans as well!

Cathleen

Slips forever,

Cathy,

You got me beat! I thought at age 74 + I was the oldest, but you have a few months on me. I won't be 75 until next May. Of course, in girl years I am a little younger, maybe 60+. Would love to get together with you sometime if I ever get back up to New England area. I live in Georgia. If you feel like it, IM or email me. Would like to hear from you!:heehee:

im 46, i have been wearing panties as long as i can remember, first bra at 14 and first dressed at 15. this began as a sexual thing but not long ago i finally admitted to myself "I am a cdr " and wow sexual! not,I have finally found myself and I only regret not admitting this to myself earlier intstead of just using it as a sexual thing. I have a fantastic wife who not only supports me but also assists me. However I am still in the closet, but would love to go out dressed, wish I could come out.

I'm 65, retired and I wish I looked good enough to get out of the closet. My wife knows but can't see why I want to dress. Some times she will buy a pair of pantie hose. Then next week will question why I dress. A lot of mixed feeling. But she has known about my dressing for 40 years.

I first tried on panties around age 8, eventually moved on to full female undies and clothes about age ten, but (almost) always in the closet. Turned 58 this year, so that makes about fifty years of wearing feminine underwear and clothing, and I still love it as much as ever. Regret that I may never have the nerve to come out and experience what it would be like to dress in public -- but I'd never pass for a woman anyway!

Hi All,

I'm 48 and have lived most of my crossdressing and fetish life in secret. I recently met a wonderful woman who is open to anything and has helped teach me to sit properly, apply make-up, apply nails and polish (I do hers also), walk in heels, and many other feminine things. In return I am required to dress as her maid at times and clean and do other domestic duties (fair trade I'd say). I'm not a full tme CD but sure enjoy it when we have the time.

50 years last May...wasn't too thrilled. AARP sends me stuff I ignore.
Probably about 45 years of crossdressing; like most, it has evolved to everyday for some things; at least once a week to fully dress. Get to go out often in summer, less often other seasons - though Saturday night coming is the next chance. I need new shoes. Joni

Casey Morgan
11-01-2006, 01:18 PM
I honestly don't know when I started. (I've tried to bury so much and I've got my mother's sense of the past: today, yesterday, recently, a while ago, don't ask me it's been too long.) But it was somewhere between 13 and 15.

I don't dress "fully" and never will, but I've been dressing like this (men's shirt, women's pants, underwear, socks, and shoes) for about 3 months now. I'm considering wearing women's tops full-time so this may end up being an in-between style.

I'm 32, I think I look a few years younger than I am, though. Don't we all?

When I started, I was old enough to make my own "lingerie" by cutting up boy's underwear and sewing on lace by hand to make a bra and panties. But young (and stupid) enough to think that under my pillow was a safe stashing place. Of course, borrowed the real thing from the hamper on a regular basis too.

Only bought my first wig a few years ago and I'm still in the closet, so I do feel I'm off to a late start. I wish I had embraced this side of me while living single in college instead of purging. Could've really used these websites then.

Depends. Physically I feel like I'm 80, mentally about 12, and chronologically 39.

I startd to dress when I was 12 wearing my mom's clothes. Once I moved out and started to live on my own, I really started to get into it. I bought my first pair of heels at 21. Bought and purged for several years and now starting to get more items for my wardrobe.

Seventy-two. ...and I never noticed them (The years, that is...) coming. They just "sneaked" up on me while I wasn't looking. Or maybe I was just peering at myself in the mirror!

I really love dressing - went out in public to a casino in Vegas on Haloween Saturday - that's a really safe thing to do - people just say, "Oh look, there's anther one!" So I just don't think about it - at all. I was on a high!

Started when I was 12, had to take a few years off when I was in college, and then again when I was newly married - but it is like bicycle riding - once you learn, you can pick it up right away - even if you have been away from it for a long time!

Ummm ummmm good, Rickie :heehee:

I am 59. My first slip and dress was for a play at age 7 or 8. I loved the feel of the nice little girl things that mom borrowed from a neighbor. "Borrowed" things from cousins during teen years, and started my panty, lingerie collection during my 20's. Wore dress and heels everynow and then, but with children in the house it was not easy. After the kids were gone began to dress more often. Now I wear lingerie everyday and dres a couple of time each week. Still love the feel of girl's clothing:heehee: .

You are a baby!!, but we "oldies" don't hold that against you. We are just envious of all the years of fun that lie ahead for you that we missed out on because we were not brave enough to embrace our femininity earlier.

So go for it and enjoy!!!

28 and a quarter!
Only realised I wasn't mad. bad, or sad in the last few months :D . but it has been apart of me since sometime in primary school.
I know I'm towards the younger end of the board but i still wish I'd started earlier, like in time to tell my SO when we first met :( I'm so jealous of those of you who have found your way in your teens! :heehee:

I am 55, came out three month ago as Sejd for real, and started CD'ing when I was 14. After embracing my sexuality, I feel more like a transexual than a crossdresser ( if that makes any sense) all labels anyway. You are all great girls!!!!!

I'm 57, started about 5. To all those young girls out there: If you think you are TS, start the process and therapy right now. In a few years no one will be able to tell, and you'll have a long life as a female. Don't wait too long.

I'm Sixty since September 6 this year and very happy to be so young.

This is one of the reasons of the caption under my avatar: "Happy sixties". The second reason is a reference to my youth and the freedom of the "Happy sixties". I lived through the sexual liberation thrust and loved it, literally...

My X-Dressing is now stronger at 60 than it has never been. I feel far more free than twenty years ago.

Hi,
Right now I'm 62, and didn't start dressing until I was about 39. Kinda late. My wife, who has passed away, got me into it.

I am 55 years young and I believe I started shortly after going down the birth canal. My earliest memory of wearing womens cloths would be before I started school, so that would put me around 5 or 6. One thing I do remember. I had to use a lot socks to full my moms bra.

Like many, started young. First wore a dress at the tender age of five. Loved it! Continued to indulge in clothing only until age 18, when my 15-year old girlfriend (who later became my wife) first introduced me to the intoxicating world of eyeshadow, mascara, blush and lipstick. During our marriage, her acceptance allowed my cross-dressing to flourish. Unfortunately, she and I grew apart, and divorced after being together eighteen years. Two children and joint custody. Unlike some, never missed an opportunity to dress en femme. Kids at Mom's, Rebecca's here! Now age 52, never gonna stop. Had I known prior to our nuptials the depth of my gender-identity preference, I probably would never have known the joys of fatherhood. Instead, I believe I would have chosen SRS and fully transitioned. However, it wasn't in the cards, and I'll play the hand I was dealt. Spend most of my non-working time dressed as a woman in the privacy of my home, only portraying as male in public. A confirmed introvert, enjoy every moment of my "alone time". C'est la vie!
