View Full Version : Went out this morning

Hey girls!
This morning I went out wearing all female clothes for the first time ever. Not that it was anything distinctively female, though. I wore panties and a white cami with a blue-brown-white striped ladies' button-down with a collar, size 12 Old Navy women's jeans and black leather boots with a 2" heel.
I stopped for gas, put air in the tires and went through the drive-thru for breakfast. The cashier at the drive-thru was looking suspiciously at my pink fingernails from last night; I wished she would have asked about them so I could have said "None of your damn business!"
Chatting with you girls on this forum has definitely given me the nerve to a lot of things I wouldn't ordinarily do, and I give everyone a big thank-you for it!
Kisses,
Sonora

that's great. if I was single I would do the same, probably keep it to fairly androgynous clothes, not wanting to make a grand statement.
as it is I go everywhere 'under-dressed'. God help me if I ever need first aid. I could be wearing almost anything underneath, but you can bet there is always something quite outrageous just waiting to be discovered!

Hi Crispy,
I would not worry about what is "underneath", the ER's have seen it all!!!

I imagine it would have been a rather exciting way to start the day! Good on you for having the courage to get out there.
I am not quite there yet myself, I think my next challange will be to go and buy some high-heels, then maybe even go to the make-up counter and ask for advice on foundation & other stuff! I guess the trick is to develop an attitude of emotional detachment from what other people may say or think, after all it can only affect me if i let it!

That's great Sonora.

Please don't tell them that. The cashier may be accepting, and any negative comments will turn him or her off. I've gone out endrab with nails done several times. Clerks have looked but said nothing. If asked, I would simply say "Do you like them? I think they are cool and love them."

I think that I have to agree with Donna on this. I think that it would probably be a bad idea to have an attitude with a clerk for asking about your nails. If we stay cool and give a good appearence when we are out and don't give people a reason to dislike us then we might be able to start to change the minds of society in general to realize that we are not really any different then they are.
But, though I hate to admit it I think that if the person started to get rude wit5h me then the male in me would probably kick in and go right back at them just for having the attitude with me in the first place.
If I am nice to them then they should be nice to me. That is how I see it.
I am happy to hear that you had a good experience though. At least you got the chance to enjoy yourself for a while and have a new experience that will put you closer to the goal that we all have of going out and being accepted.

Thanks all for your encouragement and advice. I'm not a mean person, and I probably wouldn't have said "None of your damn business." Just on an adrenaline high from being out, I guess. Am now enjoying the rest of my evening (and my remaining hours of freedom) in thin pink sweatpants with matching cami (I love camis!), bra and panties. Felt good to shower and relax after having to spend seven hours of "quality time" with my circular saw cutting paneling for the kitchen today. Thanks again!
Kisses,
