There is a person, MJ, whom I met through this board. She and I met today for coffee and after four hours I am sure that we could have chatted another four, easily.

She was beautifully dressed and extremely passable. There was no question in my mind that she was a woman. I knew who she was when I arrived at the coffee house and smiled at her to acknowledge my recognition.

I was en drab, but that mattered not. We were kindred spirits. We connected in a way that only transgenders can. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation and did not notice the time passing at all.

It was a wonderful afternoon of chatting about various things and I enjoyed very minute of it. This is the wonderful thing that a community such as this can foster, it is a means for bringing us together to celebrate that wonderful side of ourselves with others.

Thanks to all in this community who help us recognize how special we all really are.

That is such a lovely way to put it.

When there is an authenticity of personality, when we are true to who we really are and can communicate that authentic self then what we wear is irrelevant. All that matters is how we share who we are with the people in our lives who really matter.
