Hi girls thanks to all that answered would you Dance. There were lots of great comments, good feeling and cute giggles but it got me to thinking about Dancing and well…..

All of us dressers have, at one time or another in our lives, sat and watched women dance together, girl friends enjoying themselves. We’ve sat , smiled , wondered at their freedom, sensed their ability to move, to enjoy the moment and the dance with their friends without judgment and yes on some level envyed that they could do what a man never could, dance with their friends.

Sooooo Girls If you were out with the girls and one of your friends turns, giggles and says lets dance,….”I Hope You Will Dance”…. I will.

This did occur at a party last year, but I still didn't dance, because I can't.

The party this year may be different, as they will be giving dance lessons after dinner.

I can't dance worth a s**t, much less expect anyone to actually come up and ask me.

This is me dancing (earlier this year, at a club). I know the picture is rubbish but it's the only one I've got of me dancing:sad:

I have always loved dancing and now I can dance when I want. GurlsNightOut goes out every Friday, I only make it about once a month. We always end up going out to a club after 10 and I absolutely love it! We dance alone, with each other, as a group, doesn't matter. We are supprisingly accepted in even the mainstream straight clubs. It's great fun and very sensual for me to be moving and dancing as a woman. I've never felt more female or desireable than when I'm really moving well. As far as the heels, well I do have sore feet the next day but that's the price you pay. This last night out, I left my clip on earings on for almost 12 hours and got little pressure injuries to my ear lobes. That's a first for me.

Give dancing a try if you can find the right venue, you'll be hooked!

I love to dance, my favorite fem activity. Not that I'm good at it, who cares, as Frank Zappa said:

Dont know much about dancin
Thats why I got this song
One of my legs is shorter than the other
and both my feets too long
course now right along with em
I got no natural rhythm
But I go dancin every night
Hopin one day I might get it right
Im a dancin fool, Im a
Dancin fool
I hear that beat; I jump outa my seat,
But I cant compete, cause Im a
Dancin fool, Im a
Dancin fool

The disco folks all dressed up
Like theys fit to kill
I walk on in n see em there
Gonna give them all a thrill
When they see me comin
They all steps aside
They has a fit while I commit
My social suicide, Im a
Dancin fool, Im a
Dancin fool
The beat goes on
And Im so wrong
The beat goes on
And Im so wrong
The beat goes on - Im so wrong
The beat goes on - Im so wrong
The beat goes on - Im so wrong
I may be totally wrong, but Im a
Dancin fool, Im a
Dancin fool
Youwsa, youwsa, youwsa
I got it all together now
With my very own disco clothes, hey!
My shirts half open, to show you my chains
and the spoon for up my nose
I am really somethin
Thats what you'd probly say
So smoke your little smoke
Drink your little drink
While I dance the night away, Im a
Dancin fool, Im a
Dancin fool, (etc., etc.)

I may be totally wrong, but Im a
I may be totally wrong, but Im a
I may be totally wrong, but Im a
Fool-uh!

Hey darlin...can I buy ya a drink?
Lookin for mister goodbar? here he is...
Wait a minute...Ive got it...youre an italian!
Hah?
Yer jewish?
Love your nails...you must be a libra...
Your place or mine?

This is what I live for when I can. Went out this past weekend and danced all night with gg's, gf's, and gm's. Had a fantastic time, nothing but fun and frolic. Did have a gm steal my leather coat though, some what frustrating. Yet, it won't stop me from going out and dancing whenever I can. Plus it's a great way to break in a new pair of shoes (publicly that is). :hugs:

I know that you meant actual dancing, which BTW I love to do. But metaphorically speaking I hope y'all all dance. Don't let society's discriminating views ever keep you frome doing what you want to do. Wether it be dressing as a woman, being the wife/SO of a CDer or anything else that gives you pleasure. [as long as it's not illegal! LOL!!] The following song by Lee Ann Womack is my life's motto and I hope it will be your's as well. So to everyone out there, I Hope You Dance!

:hugs: to all!
 Country Girl GG

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat
But always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give fate a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances
But they're worth taking
Lovin' might be a mistake
But it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart
Leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out
Reconsider
Give the heavens above
More than just a passing glance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their years and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)

I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
Dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
(Wants to look back on their years and wonder)
I hope you dance
(Where those years have gone)

(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their years and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)

Here's a pic of me and Marla on the dancefloor with our friend Crisa, taken a couple of months ago. We love going out dancing as "two girls"

Ubokvt yes, when the occassion occurs, I will try dancing with any girl daring enough to get out on the floor with me. Dancing is a wonderful way to have fun and a girl deserves to have some fun!

but it usually takes a couple of drinks for me to get loosened up enough to go out on the floor. And yes my feet are usually sore for a day or two after being out on the dance floor for an evening. I have danced with cd gals and GG's but have never been asked to dance by a regular guy either straight or gay. (guess I'm getting too old or not pretty enough:( ) Love to dance though. Strangely enough I have been out dancing as Paula more in the last ten years than my other self.:D

I go to a club every Saturday night and look forward to dancing. When I'm en femme, I have no problem getting up there and dancing by myself, with another CD, a GG, a guy. Even had the GG DJ showing me how to make more feminine dance moves.

I don't know if there is anything sexier than dancing while en femme, especially with a guy.

Last Sat., I danced a "slow" dance with this handsome black guy. I'm sure he is Gay, but that really didn't matter at the time. It was very interesting. I'm not much of a slow dancer, and tried to let him lead. Guess I did OK, no one's toes got stepped on. I'm wondering though, if we dance with another CD or GG, who takes the lead?
