Just when you thought it was safe Sandra came to visit

Hi guys

Oh and as to the title how do you relax, Doing guy things or dare I say a few girl things.

Hey, Sandra! You're welcome anytime - is Nigella with you? :hiding:

Been up to a lot of stuff lately, but nothing too exciting - mostly work, setting up a new apartment, dealing with my elderly mother (especially since my son went out of town), trying to get together with a friend who dropped into town for a few days and, of course, trans stuff (support group, transfriendly activities, etc.).

Relaxing for me usually involves taking in a movie - I'm a movie nut and it's the best way I know to just unwind and forget the world for a couple of hours. Haven't been able to do that in at least a month, so I'm going through withdrawal, but I hope to catch The Queen (with the wonderful Helen Mirren tonight). My other relaxing activity is my video games - haven't been able to do much of that lately either, but I hope to this weekend.

Thanks for the visit - would you like some tea (laced with rum, of course)? :heehee:

Oh, ya know, working, hanging out online, etc.
I'm having a hell of a time with script #2. I finished the first script, but #2 is a right pain in the ass. 5 scenes in a month? Pathetic. Haha!
Anyway, apart from that, what I like to do to relax is really just grab a beer and watch 'House' or write, play music, etc. Playing the piano is what keeps me sane these days.

As for me well been really busy in school as usual lol!
When I'm relaxing I like to listen to music with a few beers, get on line and come here, read a good book, or watch a good film :heehee: a nice meal always goes down well! After school I like to go to the gym a good workout always gets rid of all those tensions of the day. That's about it really....well there's always one other thing that really relaxes me :p but I'll let ya use ya imaginations lol! xx Felix :hugs:

I am in a crazed state right now. I have been busy because we are in the process of moving from Texas to Alabama. Oh man what a mess. So my nerves are on end all the time.

Relaxation to me is every Friday night. I rent two movies and get a box of Reeces Pieces. I lay in bed under my comfy blanket and watch the movies on my portable DVD player. Can't beat that.

Well, much as I hate to bring down the mood, I've had a horible time recently. I've bean trying to chear up by reading Terry Pratchet's diskworld books and watching anime.

Hm... I think I should go and bleach the shower... there's stuff growing in it

I generally relax by doing guy stuff. Well, things that are more associated with men then women. My version of a relaxing movie is a violent thriller, bloody horror, or action-packed adventure film. I can't stand chick flicks, romance, or romantic comedies. I get more relaxed playing a video game in which I get to violently kill people than something like tetris. And if I decide to relax be reading, it's gonna be some sci-fi/fantasy book.
