I wonder how many gals have shopped in a store for pregnant woman?? +? A local mall where I live near, has a Mother to Be shop, I was standing by the door one early morning as they had just opened, the sales girl ask If she could help me :o , half kidding I said yes I need a few things I think Im pregnant, she laughed and said well young ladie then come in and lets see what I can do for you , I looked around and no one was near the store, so I proceded to try on some nice slacks and blouses, skirts, a few maternity bras, while in the dressing room there was a belly form that can be strapped on to fill out the middle, I put that on first and then the dresses and blouses, It was fun trying on the different things, and the sales girl was having as much fun helping me try things on, she said Id make a cool MOM,to bad we are limited too this,:o In the end I ended up with a new dress, 2 nursing bras, a skirt, about $75.00 less in my purse and a smile on my face a mile long:devil: I even left the mall in one of the outfits that I bought, I went back a few weeks later and the store had moved to an other mall, so far I havent been able to get to see If my friendly sales girl is working there or not, Love Charolette

Actually my arms are weakish....bench press 120 +/-..... My legs get the bigest workout from ice hockey!!! And the cardio workout is unbelievable..
But my daughter doesn not know about Karren and my wife knows but doesn't participate! Soooo I buy all my own clothes, do all my own makeup and hair...
I wish I could spend the money my daughter spends....the number of prom gowns in her closet make me ill!! And since she's a 4 and I'm a 10....... <Sigh>. Lol.

Sometime maternity clothes will fit the male figure quite well. They are, after all, designed to hide that big gut.
You are not the first to discover this.

Maternity clothes aren't necessarily designed to hide a big gut, but they are designed to cover it. So if someone has a big gut, then going maternity may show it off :(
In order to accomedate the bulge, maternity clothes are often a bit longer than regular womens' clothes; for many men, that extra couple of inches of length makes a big difference because mens' torsos are typically a big longer than womens'.

If you look in some of the department stores, you will probably find maternity clothes that just look like everyday clothes. For example, I have one maternity top that is not too different from a T-shirt, just a lightweight comfortable fabric. I have almost stopped noticing if I'm wearing it en drab: no-one notices. Indeed, it almost feels like "cheating", in the sense of being sufficiently close to regular male styles that thinking of it as wearing womens' clothes is like thinking of wearing a unisex T-shirt as wearing womens' clothes.

This all reminds me of the TV show "Everybody Loves Raymond" where Ray's mother (Marie) comments that she buys his father (Frank) maternity pants. Frank just thinks they're "stretchy pants". Guess he didn't even know he was a crossdresser!!

I think I posted this one before. Before we went on vacation my wife was hinting that I needed to start walking again. Then she gave me this dress. A few days later she bought me another one. This is one that she wore when she was pregnant 31 years ago. And it is true, they are quite comfortable.

A lot of the clothes in the maternity shops are wonderful. One of the clerks I talked to said that a lot of non-pregnant GG's shop there as a lot of the garments are stretchy and look good on them.

My halloween outfit.. female Navy Senior chief. I had to 'invent' my uniform as the surplus stores around here did not have what I needed. I used one of my old white uniform shirts. I did not have a black skirt that would look "military" so I went to Target. I found a 2x maternity skirt. I had not thought of maternity clothers before.. heh.. now I have more shopping options.

Targey..heh.. yup! The first racks of any store I shop in are the discount and close outs.. including Ross 'Cross'Dress for Less. It's getting to be winter time.. cold here in the northwest. I'm thinking of checking out Goodwill first, to find maternity pants. Experiment with styles and sizes.
