Today is a pretty average weather wise day here...this morning I got smashed about by the near gale force winds while out training on my bike...yeah it was 3 hours of wind blown hell, and scary as sh!t!!...anyway I thought cruddy day, I'll go get a book to read to while away the afternoon. The local Goodwill shop has a great book selection and they are dirt cheap so off I go.

Once inside, I see it's reasonably full of people, and I head for the book section and choose four books...all right, they had some Jean Paul Sartre so I was pleasantly surprised.

Now I thought, I'll just go down and check out the mens jeans...I never got to the jeans section...As I was walking down to the back of the shop I spotted this cute little black dress, and thought "wow", I'm sure that would look good on me. (how many guys would that thought happen to??) It really did just "hit me" like that. I then thought it'll never be my size...WRONG...my size exactly...so I thought this has to be a sign and I grabbed it. The sales lady sort of gave me that strange, maybe knowing look when I bought it, but hey, I've been buying womens stuff for so long now, I just smiled at her and left her guessing..

So here I am...my first LBD...I just know that I will have to try it on soon, maybe even tomorrow. So there goes all my "best intentions" of staying masculine for the long haul, I think that "femme drug" sort of sneaked up and got me again.....

Wait until tomorrow??? Why that long? What's wrong with as soon as you get home?

I can't wait to try new things on as soon as I get in the house.

I wonder if John-Paul Sartre ever slipped into any of Simone de Beauvoir's clothes while she was out?

Hi

Jennifer. I wonder that too...I did go to their grave when I was in Paris...what was with the metro tickets on it, does anyone know???

Bernadina. I just wasn't in the mood to try it on today...I do really want to see what I look like "done up" properly in it though...for that this old broad needs time (haha)..yeah so maybe tomorrow

How can you go to Goodwill without checking out the women's clothing. The proceeds from the sales go to a good cause so you are helping others when you buy a dress.

Hi

Tammi,

the title sort of came to me as I was going up to buy the dress...I thought whats going on, here I am book shopping, and I end up buying a dress...now thats something you don't see every day...almost ended up with a dress for me and a beautiful long black spaghetti strap sheer nightie with lace trim for my wife...I still might go back for the nightie. And as for photos...goodness when have I put make up on and not given you a look...so certainly I'll show you all my simple but I think stylish LBD!!!...(OMG now I have to hope it looks good on...look at the stress I'm under..ha ha ha)...

Keep that up!! Great for keeping the legs in shape. It's also a good excuse to wear Spandex. The city where I am in Taiwan has a reputation for being windy. Many of my rides feel like whichever way I turn, I'm always going into the wind. Never understood how that worked! Anyway, Keep Rolling!
