The other day I had went into payless because I know they are have a great deal on three inch dorthy looking heels(red to). So, I decided that I was giong to buy me a pair. I haven't baught a pair in quite a while, even though I do own quite a collection. So, As I have already purchased the shoes, I am to be running hope to find out that Ihad bought the wrong size. I bought them two sizes bigger because I assumed that because of the difference in gender, I would ne a bigger size. So I run back to the store and exchanged them for one size smaller. The clerck just new they were for me, but I still insisted in my own mind that I am getting the right size so there is no need to try them on. Surley enough, I run back home to only find out they they ARE still to big and that I have to get them in the size that I wear in mens. I go threw this cycle two MORE times because when I went back the third time, I got them wide. All that time I wasted becaues I was too scared to say that I didn't know what size to REALLY get for myself. I so of got the courage and tired them on int the store. I guess the moral of the story Is that people don't care what you get or what you wear, they jsut want your buisness. lol. Well, I am going to have a going out party soon, I will being going out in drag in a month or so. I have never done this before , well, last I did , but it was for halloween so that really don't count. I will be looking fabolous. I can't wait. But untill then, im jsut a closted sissy. hehe.

I was in Payless a few weeks ago they were havin a sale buy 1, half off the other, I told the sales guy that I wanted to try them on, he said sure and that they had a box of sample soxs to put on before trying them (I guess for sanitary purpose) well I found a great pair of 3/4 black boots with a zipper side,2" square heel they were size 11, to big ,then I spotted a pair 10/1/2 wide, put them on and fit like a glove, i was so happy with them that I wore them home, I had a pair of Jeans I bought at Wal Mart ladies section with my top, and bra and breast forms ,I walked out like a proud ladie, oh by the way I also got a pair of low cut loafers for the other half off,

Payless is now my favorite store. I have found two wonderful SA in two local stores so I keep going back to them. They are so helpful, and I do not go in dressed. I no longer buy and return.

But if you are a little embarassed try this. The ladies size 10, 11 & 12 are almost always in the back. Select a pair you like, take the box with you and walk over to the mens section (usually the next aisle) place the box down so it blocks the view and try the shoe on. I did that earlier this week when the ladies aisle was full of ladies and there has no one in the men's aisle. All I usually get from the larger ladies is a sweet smile anyway. No one has every said anything to embarass me. And I was trying on some of their boots, so I needed a little more space to get them on. Found a delicious pair, but I need the wide verison......more shopping!!

Payless is the only place in my small town that has a variety of shoes in size 12. The actual shoe stores rarely carry above a size 10, nor do the clothing stores (Fashion Bug, Goodys, Stage, or JCPenney). I have to travel 100 miles or more to find a good selection of size 12. So I always try my shoes on when buying in person.

When buying online, I look for a company with an excellent return policy - I love Zappos. I can order what I think will fit, get them and send them back for a different size - no hassle.

Why don't you just order 2 pair of different size and return one? :D

I have ordered from Zappos as well and luckily I don't have to return anything. I actually called them for a price match on a pair of boots and the person processed it right away.
