Half of the Teenage boys at the mall here are wearing low rise jeans and something girly - I think it's a style or something....:yikes:

Hi Everyone: Ashley, what U likely encountered was a sociopath with homosexual tendancies. Remember several yrs ago when Jerry Springer ambushed some guy with a homosexual admirer and he then shot and killed the gay admirer?

The guy U encountered was a maladjusted sort who may have been capable of violence, because of his "repressed desires" he is very threatened by U so in my opinion U made the correct decision to let "sleeping dogs lay". I have noticed the men who R the most vocal about gays R the same ones who R attracted and can't accept it. The first reaction to fear is usually anger.

See now this is why a girl should always be prepared, whether it's mace or a .45. This is exactly why I keep an array of objects close at hand even if it's my keys between my knuckles. I've heard horror stories of girls and guys being attacked just for looking at someone the wrong way.

It wasn't Jerry Springer, it was Jenny Jones.

So far, it sounds like rude teenage girls just ridicule you, but rude teenage guys threaten you!

As far as I am concerned any one who makes statements like that are knuckleheads and need to move way back in the sticks where goodole boys r good ole boys.

I was filling up when a carload drove by and yelled "Faggot" (where I live, the local crowd doesn't make mcuh distinction between anything outside the norm...it's either normal or it's gay).

I grew up in St. Louis county, 1970s. Even when I was sporting the John Lennon look (with beard), I was called 'faggot' a million times. The advantage is now I can sport the Twiggy look and there's not much worse to call me, is there? Thinking about it, now that I sport the Twiggy look, I haven't had any problems anymore.

Iv'e found that women definately seem to notice much more then guys. Years ago I was in a big dancehall in Myrtle beach & had just finished dancing with a nice guy & he was licking my ear. when we went back and sat down I saw behind me a girl waving to him .After talking for a minute he said I'll be right back & disappeared. Maybe she was mad at more competion. I've also had women come over a talk to me,saying alot of men were assholes, ignore them you look great. But I think younger males could cause a problem. I think maybe that's 'cause you're now in groovy California rather than St. Louie...

Usually I don't mind the remarks from teens. I'm the one dressed diferently, so if someone wants to make a remark, so be it. BUT, there is always one. Last summer I took the dog for a walk, passed a bar I won't go to. Two male 20 somethings started to hassle me. I had on a t shirt and a knee lenght denim skirt and tenny's, wig and makeup. First, they started making remarks, big deal. Then one said they wanted money. And the other one said something about having a knife. The dog was growling and I asked the one with the maybe knife, if he wanted some good advice. He said, "What can you tell me?" I told him not to bring a knife to a gun fight. The one that wasn't as drunk grabed his friend and took him back in the bar. Later I saw police cars circling the block, but I didn't go out there again....BJ
ps. I had 13 9mm Gold Dots ready to help me, but I was very glad I didn't have to even pull it.

Once in a while I fantasize about returning, en femme, to Blueberry Hill (U. City) where I bartended a million years ago but, ultimately, St. Louis is just a bore.

I do not mean to minimize. Teen boys, young men, military recruits - especially drunk and in packs - are scarier than nukes or any other monsters under the sun.

I once had several teenage boys running after me in broad daylight. Good thing they didn't follow me home...

Don't forget, November 20th is TG Remembrance Day.

The first time I went out dressed, I went to a mall (something I would not recommend doing!) and as soon as I got to the center walkway, I heard
"It's a dude!"

One of the last times I went out I heard another teen aged male ask
"was that a man or a woman?" So I guess I made some progress in those
8-9 years.

I have been called a " fag " and " drag Queen " by teenage boys, in my early days of CD'ing, but not for the last six months or thereabouts. Maybe I am getting better in passing as I improve my wardrobe and makeup. From Pantyhose Lover Maureen

Actually, the trip back from college yesterday was okay... there were teenage lads around the Co-op that we go past, but I got nothing from them! Which surprised me.

During one of my very first adventures of going out shopping (wrote about that here a while back) as I was leaving a mall down in Florida two or three teenage boys whistled and yelled out something after I had passed them heading out to the parking lot.

I just kept on going! Of course like lots of us do, I was totally all wrong in my look when first going out. Had on a short skirt and all that...plus back then I was not very good at makeup.

These days I dress way down in jeans or a casual middle aged chick look (old lady reading glasses, long skirt, simple blouse or even wear my fur coat) and I seem to blend in. Teenagers don't notice me since I hopefully just look like a 40 something lady going thru da mall. I just do not register on their radar since I look like a boring middle aged chick! If I dressed sexy they would look at me closer and read me then is my theory anyway. :tongueout

Have not had any bad incidents in a while with Teenagers.

When en femme, I've never had a problem, as like Deidra, I look like a middle aged woman...not the sort of thing a teenage guy is gonna check out for longer than one second.

But in "girly boy mode" wearing clothes just like Ashley_Katlyn describes, I do get more stares but funnily enough usually from teenage girls not boys. Only once have I been called a faggot to my face. It was shouted at me when I was driving my car and this guy in his truck came up alongside me at the traffic lights. Funny thing was I didn't think I was dressed "that girly"....not really.
