Chafed Skin Under Arms Where Bra Band Sits

Lately, my skin where the bra band lies under my arms has been really dry/chafed lately? Should I use some sort of lotion? Why would this particular area get like this?

Just a couple of ideas -
Do you need a larger size?
Are you wearing a new bra made of something you haven't worn before (allergic reaction)?

My first thought would also be band size. If you are wearing one that is to small it could be rubbing when you move.
Or it could be a matter of the way you are getting rid of the hair in that area. If your bra is not to small try lotion in the area and see if that does any good.
It could also be that your deodorant is causing it if you recently changed the brand or type.
Another one could be the soap that you are using. If you have really sinsitive skin anyway and you changed soap or if your body chemistry has changed recently due to age or a medication that you are taking that might cause it as well.

that is about the only reasons that I can think of right now. Let me ask my wife and if she comes up with anything else I will post is.

I love my Hanes Her Way lighlty lined softcup bra. It's very comfortable and has a wide band. I find narrow bands to really dig in. I spose I should toss out the other bras...

Ouch! Pain...it's almost like a rash or something. I just rubbed vasaline intensive care lotion and my breasts have a stinging sensation around the nipple area...

I would definitely find a larger size bra.
