Just today at wally world someone came up and told me how happy she was to see another tall woman. So many people have issues with height, more than you'd expect. Go out, be proud, stand tall (or short as the case may be).

That is so true. Without a doubt, I have identified more with tall women (being 6' as well) and find myself chatting with them more at professional and social events. It's easy to compliment them on their appearance. I have always been attracted to them....

being tall has its advantages like if someone is overweight it will not seem quite as obvious when u are tall because the weight is eventually distributed and not in one location like at the middle so i am 5ft 3 inches and i wished i wuz taller, being tall i think u suave and sophicated.

The only problem I have at 5'11" is finding cloths that fit.

Trouble finding clothes? Try finding nice slacks that are size 22 AND Tall/Long. Not an easy task. But yes, I enjoy the company of tall women.

My height (and hair on my arms -- my sleeves kept creeping up) sort of gave me away my first time in public. After I left a store a lady customer asked the SA if I were a "lady." The SA asked her what she thought. The customer said she thought I might be one, although tall (I'm 5-10 and was wearing 4-inch heels that day), but then the hair on my arms swung the vote the other way. The nice thing is she said my make-up was well done. And her woman friend didn't even notice me (which I claim is a plus).
Since then I have taken note of all the tall GG's around. And some are TALL.

I had a friend, a gg, that worked for a drug store, that has the hairest blck hair on her arms. She was so self concious about it that after she got married she started to use nair on them.:2c:

I have found it interesting that there are in fact several women where I work that are as tall as I am, and in a couple of cases, even a bit taller. I find it quite inspiring to see an extremely attractive GG taller than me! :D

At 5'-10", I can get by with wearing 2-1/2 to 3" heels and still only hit 6', which while it is at the tall end for GG's, is not as uncommon these days as it was in previous generations!

I've noticed that women who are as tall, or taller, than me (I'm 6'1") do seem self-conscious, and this always makes them intriguing to me (self-conscious has been my middle name most of my life). I guess if more tall MTFs start going out more we can keep the tall girls company.:hugs:

I haven't tried passing yet, but my height is one thing that I think would attract attention. Especially if I get the heels I want :heehee:

Maybe Karren can share her incredible shrinking formula. :D

Seems to me height should be a non issue these days. Around in my local community mega tall women aren't all that common but out in the wider world they aren't all that "rare". Just going to Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson airport, the busiest in the world, I see all kinds of absolutly stunning mega tall females that stop me dead in my tracks and I stare in admiration and awe (unless I'm with my wife :winking:)

I used to have concerns about my height, being 5'-11" and my fondness for 3" heels, but while in Houston in Oct 2004, I was in a lounge having a Corona and watching the '04 Miss World Beauty Pagent. The average height for the 15 semi-finalists was 5'-11", Miss South Africa who didnt make the cut visibly towered over the other women, she had to have been 6'-6". Of the 5 finalists, 4 were Latina, Miss Argentina was 6'-0" the other 3 were 5'-11". The shrimp in the group was Miss USA at 5'-10". It was Miss Mexico we were all wrooting for, and I can't tell you how re-assuring it felt to me to find I had the same stats in height, weight, and lady lump distribution (when properly padded). I'm lucky to have a very slight build for a male, and it's that lack of manly bulk that has better served me then any lack of height.

I love tall women they're :gorgeous: gorgeous! I'm 5' 9" so if I wear low heels I don't think I'm not all that tall to pass...

My New Year's resolution is too lose  40lbs... so i can fit into that  sexy dress...

I too am 5' 9", so that makes me around 6' in 3" heels. There are 5 women in my work area and the shortest is around 5' 8", so I feel right at home. At Holiday Enfemm, we had at least 10 or more ladies that were 6' or higher and that was in stocking feet. Add 3-6" heels and we had some tall ladies.

I was in Europe and made a similar observation about tall GGs.

Some people are concerned about their height. My GG friend who is 5'7" always complain that she is tall and she only want to date a guy who is taller than her. One of my male coworker said he would not date someone taller than him. Personally I don't want to date someone who is a foot taller than me.:D

If women can wear heels to make them taller why can't men's shoes have heels as well? :2c:

The problem with Karen's formula is that it shrinks you in other ways than hight.:lol2:

At a little over 6'1" in stockings (mmmmm..stockings - ok, panty hose), I know that my chances of attracting attention en femme are pretty high. Probably get read at least once every time I go out. Still go out, though, like last night to the mall, where I spent 30 minutes in one of the major bookstores browsing and just enjoying shopping.
Stopped for gas and a lady at the gas station asked about my car. We talked for a few minutes, and she HAD to know I was a crossdresser. Didn't stop our conversation.
I have decided that it is ok to get read once in a while. See you out there!

Had an interesting experence many years back. Long story short, my wife was cleaning out the closet where maternity stuff was and giving it away as the "factory" was closed. One outfit she pulled out was one from my mom that she never wore as it was too big. She tossed it to me ans said I should ry it on. I had surgery several years prior to this that my stomach muscles were, shall we say...lax and it honestly looks like I'm about 6 months pregnant. Well, it fit and she had this blank look on her face saying that it was the most feminine I had ever looked. My height, 6'3", was totally overcome by the look of being pregnant.

We went out to dinner that night (I wore that outfit - pink and white jumper)and not a single person questioned my gender (you know the look you get...). I was however totally accepted as a pregnant woman. A comment about height was only made by one person and that an older woman who asked how tall was the father, (I gave her my height) and responded that the baby didn't have a chance...gonna be tall like "her" parents. Doors were held open, lines were skipped (at the theater, a porter had me and my "girlfriend" come to the front of the line) and smiles abound the entire evening. It was truly wierd but wonderful at the same time.

A brief taste of a truly feminine event that will never be forgotten

When i was a boy i couldn't wait to be tall but now that I'm a woman i definitly feel self conscience about my height 6'1''. I enjoy wearing high heels so now i'm like 6'4''. when my small wife stands next to me i feel like a giant. Oh well such is life. I am jelous of all you shorter girls. I dont know what i'm going to wear on my feet when i finally go out. All i have are heels. definitly not my black high heel platform go go boots. fun to wear but not passable for me.

I am 6' 3", I remember going out with my then girlfriend who is 6', it was my first time in public en femme. The only comment I heard was that it looked like the WNBA was invading the place!

Hey, I don't mind looking like a female basketball player :tongueout

I'm 6'3" in my stockinged feet. When I was younger I wanted to be tall and big. I'd kill to be 5'9" and 140lbs!!!! I do have a thing for tall women though. I'd love to look eye to eye with a tall blonde. Unfortunately, I've never dated anyone like that.

You have no idea about tall. At 6'7" it is really a streatch for me. On the two trips out of town I took, I got a few stares, but being the real soldier my wife is she, and she never misses anything, just told me to enjoy the stares, I guess the long legs and "d's" stood out. Then she went on to inform me that the looks and stares was something that a girl has to get use to, for how ever they are precieved.

Being 6-1 I think, I have found that I have average length waist to foot measure ment, but from waist up I have a long torso so 25, 26,27 inch womens tops wont cut it. I have to look for tops in the 29-32 inch length to look good enfemme. I also on rare occasions that I might have to wear heels try to stay below 3 inch ass not to seem to tall.
